Trying for a Baby Part Six

Morning everyone!

Hope you're all ok (for a Monday morning anyway!).

Nice to see you back Skintchick, I know it can be a bit of a rocky road after a mc but we'll get there .

I've missed loads as have been working mental hours but at least it's taken my mind off what CD I am. Not obsessing over getting pregnant again was my goal this month. I bought myself loads of new clothes last weekend, my first shopping spree since TTC as I always thought it would be a waste of money if I got pg and wouldn't be able to wear them. I figured I can't put my life on hold any more for something that could take a long while and if I DO get pg then my new clothes will be an incentive to lose the baby weight afterwards

Ditched the OPK this month but think I'm about 1dpo (ish! think it could be more than that but that will do!).

We've got a run of BFP's coming here I can feel it, who's first??

I did the same this month, I'd been putting off restarting my horse riding lessons as I'll stop as soon as I'm PG but this month decided I might as well start going again, hopefully it'll tempt fate but if not then atleast I'm doing something I enjoy whilst TTCing!!

Morning lovely ladies, its GORGEOUS here today - long may it last!

I spent the weekend with DW doing some DIY - and let me tell you, putting up privacy frosting on your windows is a maker or breaker relationship wise. I swear DW was about 2/3 of the way towards killing me! Suffice to say, we will never renovate a house together.

Im at work with something irritating in my eye and it WONT come out, does anybody have a good trick for getting something you cant see out of your eye?!!

So I have my 7do blood test tomorrow and my scan for ovarian cysts on Saturday. Has anybody have that scan? I think they go internally to check and I'm a bit concerned that I'll be 11dpo it could upset my non existent bean! Im 98% sure that its not us this month, as the timing was off, which is why I dont feel like I am in the 2ww and wont have a testing date - BUT, 2% of me is a bit worried about the what ifs.

Also, Ive been googling for pics of ovarian cysts as I dont get the results til a weeks time or something, and I figured if theres a screen, I can just look?!

Attachment parenting is basically just being very attached to baby the theory being if you give them a really strong base to start with they will be more likely to be confident when they are older. So we do co-sleeping, BF and carry baby in a sling or carrier. I initially liked the idea of it because I hate getting out of bed(!) but after doing quite a bit of reading I decided it was the best option for my little family and it has worked well for us so far. Dr Sears is the guru but I can recommend a few other books as well if you are interested.

Hello 2b,

I've mot had a scan for cysts but I know when I had my internal when I had my mc they could see my ovaries. That scan won't hurt any bean as they use it in early pregnancy and for people like me who have a retroverted uterus.

I've just had a quick look online and I think they try an external scan first so you probably won't need an internal.

If you are worried let them know that you are TTC.
