Is that a website specifically designed to introduce donors to ...er, I don't know the term to use...recipient? (please correct me!)
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:At your friend! :rotfl:
Yep thats it and yes, we are the recipients!
It seems to be VERY difficult to find someone who matches what you want genetically (for us, its my DW and son) and who is trustworthy and not after s*x. We has the misfortune of communication on email with a couple of what seemed like, sleezeballs.
Fingers crossed his sperm is supersperm and compatible!Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -
I hope mission was completed
- Nah we fell asleep! We had bd'd the night before and have diarised some time over the next 72 hours. yes - we have to diarise stuff as this weekend we are in/out and all about! I'm off out clubbing Sat night and for some reason Mr Praline always likes to wakes up for a good session
. Soo looking forward to my 5am sunday morning bd (was going to be crude but...). Probably too late for ov but gosh - the anticipation of that is eye-watering.
*ahem*
2ba - Wow - so sorry for my assumptions! (and a little disappointed we won't have a sperm mascot). Glad you have everything in place though and good luck with the TTC!
Emsbet - I have my fingers crossed for you. But feel it a bit for oyu because limbo is a hard place to be. I hope the appointment comes quickly.

p.s I may stick around. I wasn't waiting for someone to mention me - I'm not that egotistical and I'm sure you all had better things to do than wonder where some internet stanger was resting her head (blimey I'm on the horn... Had images of my head in Mr Pralines lap:whistle:!) I was considering posting before but was busy and I'm not sure I actually have anything to add. My advice to the TTC-er's is 'have s*x'... Other than that I've not much of an idea what to do!0 -

Ahh OK, thanks for chatting about it all too.
And yeah, I can well imagine there are more than a few sleazeballs who will think that the website is a doorway to living out a fantasy of their own! *rolls eyes* Numnutz they are!
Fingers crossed about for supersperm! Will he be donating more than once (if necessary)?
Oh and I have more questions about insemination, but fear I may be overstepping a bit.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Not wrong at all, we all want to just move to the next cycle as soon as possible, if we know we're out of the running.....Hope AF turns up soon and you won't steal x-charlies-x trophy

Hubby and I haven't told anyone. It's better that way as we avoid the difficult questions or pity looks, :rotfl: We've been asked a couple of time "so, when are you two going to have kids" and we just say eventually and laugh it off. Hubby says I spend too much on holidays to afford kids, lol. I bet some of our friends now think we don't even want them. Maybe we've been too convincing :rotfl:SS'ing - NEVER!
(only a bit on another website)
:rotfl: QQ will still give you a naughty smileyWell, guess what?! FF has automatically added an ov line for me - woohoo! :j Means I ov'd on CD13 which is great as it's actually normal for once! Shame we haven't BD'd at all this month so I know there's no chance whatsoever(I'm sure i'll still SS though, LOL!)
Good to know it likes your data and it will help you plan for next monthTTC #3..........0 -
No honestly, I am happy to answer questions! It's all been a learning curve for me too.
He donated twice last month, but we were 4-5 days before ovulation. This month just the once, on day of ovulation, as he was short of time *sigh*
And if we are lucky enough to get a BFP with this donor, we would like to use him again for siblings too!Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -
I did one this morning-TLP but then the ones I did last week were TLPs too which is why I did the digi....

I dreamt about you last night, REALLY dont want to upset you but
you were having a scan which showed a sticky bean (a pink one) then I woke up and was reading the thread and you told everyone all was ok and I was thinking "thats cool, I dreamt that last night" Freaked me out a little bit just now reading about your scanHope with all my heart all works out ok for you ! (to balance off my dreams though my 2nd one was our town was being invaded by Zombies - I hope to god that one doesnt pan out :rotfl:)
Still aching and have hormones from hell so Ive taken to my sofa to cry at the telly :female::female::female:Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -

Are you both trying to get pregnant, or is it just you, or just your DW?
Mmm.....is there a....er....turkey baster like device involved with insemination? haha, sorry, I don't know how else to put that! I'm embarrassed for myself now!:o :rotfl::rotfl:
Will he be involved with the child's life, or is he happy to stay in the background until/if the child is adult and wants to contact him?
Here's hoping you get a BFP soon!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

Me again (I am on a one woman strike today).
Just realised my advice above can be offensive to at least 1 member...
Just to make it clear - I write in a weird style that is supposed to raise a smile and possibly a hand over mouth in shock moment...
2ba - without sounding all 'I'm not racist cos I have black friends' can I say that I hope you don't mind me pointing out that my above comment includes you as well as surely you are still enjoying the pleasurable aspects of tcc-ing? I do incidentally have many gay friends/associates in and out of work, family and friends old and young and since childhood.
Heaven (are you a Londoner - Heaven is/was a famous gay club) was my raving spot for a while... Gosh and Fire *whistles down memory lane*

Not read back yet but hopefully everyone is ok.
I've just got the appointment through for my scan (check ovaries for cysts) and it's just typical that it clashes with a course that I'm supposed to be attending for work. I fought to get on this course as it was expensive and now I'm not going to be able to attend. Wont be able to get a refund either. So now I'm going to need to explain to my bosses why I can't go and my line manager is the type to make me feel bad about it. Grrr!0
