I :heartsmil Amterdam. Very fond memories, its where my DW first told me she loved me! (before we got married)

And as for telling people, my DW is telling nobody, I tried SO hard not to tell anybody - but I got too excited, so told a few close friends (which my DW is going to kill me about!!), they are trust worthy friends but they are under strict indsutructions not to ask how it is going!

Being slightly paranoid about others finding out, I am using a different log in that my usual - because I tend to use the same log in on lots of sites! :D
Am I the only one that didn't realise you weren't the DW?:rotfl:
Do we actually have a fella on the board at last?
    I'm confused!!!:o

ETA: thanks for the stats :)

No, I didn't realise until that last post either. That'll teach me to be so assuming (os that the right word?)! :rotfl:

    Hugs Emsbet......

Mrs Dave - sounds promising and the funny feelings you have may not be AF....oh do test :j

    Hugs Tinkwings....

Also hugs to anybody else ive missed out

littleme82 - a few people know we are trying eg some close family but they never really talk about now as its been quite long whereas all my family 'caught' pretty quickly
so i come here and [STRIKE]moan[/STRIKE] talk you lot about my feelings

CD16 womenlog puts me OV yesterday but im not too sure - my OPK had faint line yesterday so im guessing more like today or tomorrow. anyhows we BD yesterday morning and im planning on either tonight or tomorrow morning (no romance there then)

can i just ask going over old ground - ive had headache for past couple of days and then wed night/thurs morning really horny and wet (TMI) and then today i feel really emotional - am i just over SS for OV or can these be symptoms? i know ive been trying a year but really just left it too fate but now i am trying to work out what my body is telling me

Also not helping my BF thinks she is preggers and i know this sounds really selfish but her Boyf is not very nice to her and they have only been going out a year and only last week she was thinking of leaving him cos of the things he is doing to her and she missed 1 pill so she says and AF hasnt arrived for her so she is testing tomorrow!! why is this all bugging me so much!!! im trying not to [STRIKE]think[/STRIKE] stress about it as OV is immenent but i cant help it

Dude it was awesome! Went about 3yrs ago now on a sort of stag/hen weekend type thing. I think we had shark steak for main or something odd. Anyway, it's not just about what we ate, it's also how they present it, and the mental stuff going on around us - entertainment and such-wise. And you eat on basically beds. Like I say, it was mental. But worth it for the experience! And it wasn't as expensive as we were expecting either (though it wasn't cheap, don't get me wrong). You should try it ;) Go on, live a little ;)

I have the same "symptoms" for Ov, so sounds like OV to me rather than anything else...esp on CD16 :)

Because it's natural for it to, and it's a sign of how much you care and love and want the bundle you haven't quite created yet.:A

I need to work up the courage first as I am a fussy eater at the best of times (something I've been working on for the last few years) and I'm definitely not brave enough to try shark yet!

Iloveholidays - yep, they sound like ov symptoms to me. I get pretty randy and have the EWCM, emotional, spotty and windy (TMI!).

Tbf, I'm a fussy eater too! But they (thankfully) didn't serve us anything I couldn't handle ;) I might dig out the pics actually and see what they did serve us....

    Howdy all,

I am bursting with news and responses (forgot many responses I am so sorry).

    1. Hello male bringer of sperm - hopefully you can be the sperm mascot for the thread

    2. Re telling people - quite a few people know for us. Reason being that we (I) needed to talk through so much stuff beforehand - finances, stretchmarks, late nights, career, changes to our marriage before we made this decision. There are a good few people who are aware but Mr Praline and I have told people who we would need support from if it all went wrong. BTW - one of my mates who was trying for a year (they have 2 children) is having TWINS!! Big shock, as it is 3 and 4 and many changes for them but they are really happy now.

    3. This may make you laugh! I am well excited because yesterday I finally got a positive OPK! I am Ovulating! I didn't realise how worried I was until yesterday and want to tell the world! I was soo chuffed as I have never had a positive reading before. And feel a bit like a hen
Anyway, I spent the evening spontaneously singing 'I've got an eegggggg!', but Mr Praline!
Well, he spent a few minutes briefing his army on a new mission they have been in training for years apparently and now the time is 'ripe'. Their mission is to save Mistress Eggy from a short life of purgotory (we are catholic btw) and the soldier that accomplishes the mission (by liberating princess eggy) will be promoted to Major Zygote and unified for life with Princess eggy.

    I was on the floor.
