    3. This may make you laugh! I am well excited because yesterday I finally got a positive OPK! I am Ovulating! I didn't realise how worried I was until yesterday and want to tell the world! I was soo chuffed as I have never had a positive reading before. And feel a bit like a hen
Anyway, I spent the evening spontaneously singing 'I've got an eegggggg!', but Mr Praline!
Well, he spent a few minutes briefing his army on a new mission they have been in training for years apparently and now the time is 'ripe'. Their mission is to save Mistress Eggy from a short life of purgotory (we are catholic btw) and the soldier that accomplishes the mission (by liberating princess eggy) will be promoted to Major Zygote and unified for life with Princess eggy.

If you don't mind my asking, where is the supersperm coming from for this bundle?

    Ahhhhhhhh, now I get it.

Now I have questions about TTC, but I don't want to offend by asking. :silenced: So I'll leave it to you to decide if you wish to share or not.

    Howdy all,

I am bursting with news and responses (forgot many responses I am so sorry).

    1. Hello male bringer of sperm - hopefully you can be the sperm mascot for the thread

    2. Re telling people - quite a few people know for us. Reason being that we (I) needed to talk through so much stuff beforehand - finances, stretchmarks, late nights, career, changes to our marriage before we made this decision. There are a good few people who are aware but Mr Praline and I have told people who we would need support from if it all went wrong. BTW - one of my mates who was trying for a year (they have 2 children) is having TWINS!! Big shock, as it is 3 and 4 and many changes for them but they are really happy now.

    3. This may make you laugh! I am well excited because yesterday I finally got a positive OPK! I am Ovulating! I didn't realise how worried I was until yesterday and want to tell the world! I was soo chuffed as I have never had a positive reading before. And feel a bit like a hen

I had mentioned not having sperm on tap! I thought that was a dead give away!! Obviously nobody reads my posts

We're using a donor, somebody we met through a website. The only reason we are not yet going down the clinic route (which we would obviously prefer) is the cost, and we're not entitled to any funding on the NHS, as we have a child (my DW's child from previous r'ship, also a donor baby!) who lives with us.

    Complicated, much?

I was telling a friend yesterday we were trying and she had assumed, we were just going to a nightclub, pointing at a man and saying 'He'll do' - and taking him home! :rotfl:

Absolutely more than happy to. I'm all for educating! I'd rather people judge us as two loving parents rather than on our sexuality.

Dude it was awesome! Went about 3yrs ago now on a sort of stag/hen weekend type thing. I think we had shark steak for main or something odd. Anyway, it's not just about what we ate, it's also how they present it, and the mental stuff going on around us - entertainment and such-wise. And you eat on basically beds. Like I say, it was mental. But worth it for the experience! And it wasn't as expensive as we were expecting either (though it wasn't cheap, don't get me wrong). You should try it ;) Go on, live a little ;)

I second how amazing supperclub is. I took my DW on a date there (it was the only time in my life, I've felt so flush) and we did spend quite a considerable amount of money there, but we were drinking bubbly too!

This may have been why she said she loved me! :D
