This will sound very wrong on this thread but I want AF to show up so that I know my body at least has made a start to getting back to normal. We can then start.......;)
Also I have not had any cramps or signs to say I have OV. The docs dont tell you when you are a teenager that it can seem to take forever to get the pill out of your system.
Is anyone else using this thread as their way of talking about the whole TTC thing. No one knows what our plans.
Sorry for being a bitbut I really didnt think it would take this long to try and get back to normal.

Hey Littleme. i just saw your post and wanted to let you know my experience of coming off the pill. i was on it for about 5 years and stopped taking it after my honeymoon in december.
I then had a bleed 6 weeks after (at the end of Jan), then went on to have a MONSTROUS 75 day cycle and didnt have another bleed until mid April! I then had another long one of 40odd days before i ovulated but we got our BFP this month so although im on CD50odd now, i am 4 weeks pregso it can happen while your waiting for your body to return to normal. Id recommend charting your temps and OPKs so you can pinpoint ovulation during these long cycles! Good luck! xx

Thanks guys. I think I always knew it wasn't going to be sticky and I trued my hardest not to get to attached but it's still hit me pretty hard. Couldn't stop crying yesterday but feeling a bit better today. B00bs are still hurting and swollen and I'm hoping they will stop soon because they were my main preganancy symptom - feels a bit like my body is mocking me
xx
Really sorry emsbet
Don't really know what else to say other than take care of yourself :grouphug:

Stoopid phone just lost my reply and tried to send me to the savings area-is it trying to tell me something LOL!
Hello girls-how are we all doing? I've been reading this thread-cor blimey things got a bit hairy! Never mind, moving on.
Emsbet-so, so sorry. I hope you are doing ok...
QQ-naughty internet for stopping you from posting!
In answer to the question about using it to talk about TTC-I'm exactly the same. When people found out my friend was trying, everytime she met up with someone they would ask her about it, or if it was just me, they would ask me what they were doing! I always found it very intrusive and thought it must add pressure, so I've not told anyone.
I'm so glad to have you girls to talk to though. Seeing you thoughts/paranoia/hope posted on here really makes me feel I'm not alone...so thank you everyone!
Anyhoo, I'm currently on CD13 and got a positive OPK (I've been using the digital ones because I like the smiley face!) which would be great if OH wasn't away until Monday. We did BD on Wed night, so hopefully he will have super-swimmers that last-well, he was wearing his Superman pants!
Happy Friday everyone :-)0 -
So sorry to hear your bad news Emsbet.
Just a quick update- I'm now 11DPO. As this is my first month charting I'm not sure how long my luetal phase is going to be so I'm assuming AF will be here soon if I don't get a BFP in the meantime. Don't feel any different this month tho so I don't think I'll get a positive result.
Have taken your advice on board and started recording my temperatures on FF. Find it really good and simple to use. I've got a VIP access for the first 30 days and that seems to be good as well. As I'm a new user I'm not allowed to post with links so can't direct you to my chart at the moment.0 -
Right, caught up now!
Sounding good Mrs Dave, fingers crossed
Hello Praline  nice to see you
Euro - I don't know if you saw but last week (I think) someone (possibly me, lol) asked where people had gone and GG popped back to say that quite a few people were posting on a different forum these days, although lots of them are still lurking (hello!)
Hugs mishka, hope you feel more chirpy soon
Littleme82 - i think the reason most of us are here is because we haven't told anyone we're TTC! It's a good place to ask those (often gross) questions that you would NEVER want to ask anyone in real life!
Well, guess what?! FF has automatically added an ov line for me - woohoo! :j Means I ov'd on CD13 which is great as it's actually normal for once! Shame we haven't BD'd at all this month so I know there's no chance whatsoever(I'm sure i'll still SS though, LOL!)
Had a really bad night's sleep last night as DH came in late after a work social and proceeded to fidget all night, including turning over and elbowing me in the face - brilliant! Luckily I'd booked today off work as my sister is staying with me. Off out shopping later
Hope you all have a good day

Hi Ladies
Sorry been MIA have had a pants last few days.:o Found put yesterday that I will have to have B12 injections for the rest of my live.:o
Hugs tinkwings, tell me to bog off if you like but was wondering what B12 is for? Is it a daily injection? I'd hate that, I can't imagine having to inject myself!
Edit...to add the rest of what I was going to say! I 'think' I might have had MLP (like TLP but miniscule instead of tiny!) on my OPKs the lat 2 days! Will see what this afternoon's one says!!0 -

Yeah, I did see it, but I don't know who is posting on another forum, who might just be on holiday, who might have other stuff going on, or who might be taking a break from the thread or TTC in general (for whatever reason). Unless they tell us, I will remain clueless. Nothing new there then! :rotfl::rotfl:
But, I hope everyone is doing OK, whereever they are, and whatever may be going on in their lives right now. And I hope that they feel comfortable enough to come back to chat, ask questions, or get support if they ever feel the need.
*waves* at Praline also! And other lurkers for that matter *waves*
Great news about the earlier ov'ing BB!I was the fidgety one last night, as I had a work social. Well, kind of, the original plans were abandoned after a few of our colleagues had to cancel due to illness. But four of us ladies decided to go out for dinner and a drink or two anyway. Went to a lovely restaurant in Amsterdam, away from the main centre, here: http://www.goldenbrownbar.nl/home.html I would recommend it for anyone who plans to visit Amsterdam in the future. Good service, not too expensive, and lovely yummy food. Oh, and although it's not on the menu, they will do a burger and chips if you ask for it, as that is what two of the ladies had.
Sorry, gonna stop yammering now.

I :heartsmil Amterdam. Very fond memories, its where my DW first told me she loved me! (before we got married)
And as for telling people, my DW is telling nobody, I tried SO hard not to tell anybody - but I got too excited, so told a few close friends (which my DW is going to kill me about!!), they are trust worthy friends but they are under strict indsutructions not to ask how it is going!
Being slightly paranoid about others finding out, I am using a different log in that my usual - because I tend to use the same log in on lots of sites!Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -
