Had a look at last cycle's chart with a friend last night and wondered whether my body tried to ov around CD30ish but couldn't (cos of illness/antibiotics?)

so did so around CD40ish instead...I think I get a spotty outbreak around ov too, which sort of ties in (I've just had breakout and EWCM at the same time, but I'd actually be surprised if I've ov'd this "early" in my cycle, but I can hope!)...but that would still leave something like a 17day LP... Anyone know what's the normal range supposed to be? :huh:

Normal range is around 10-16days. So you should've ov'd around CD41-47.

How about CD43?

Just a question for you lovely ladies. Is EWCM what you get around when you OV? If so, as I think i had this last Friday-Monday (ish) does this mean I could expect AF 2 weeks after?

Just want her to arrive just to put my own mind at rest that my body is working.

Ummmm QQ, you were right, I am only 4po, not 5dpo. I got my dates muddled... Sunday was ovulation day. Sowweeeee

Thanks QQ but I think it was my af playing up, I've started spotting again just want it to hurry up so I know where I am again in cycle days!! Arghhh so annoying!!!

CD36 gives a 23day LP! :shocked:
CD43 is plausible, but all my temps are screwy from all the antibiotics and such. And my temps this month are a good 1/2degree higher this month than the beginning of last month (I've now worked out how to change my home page thing and have overlaid the two if you want to nosey...they do seem a bit more stable this month than last month now though, so hopefully that's a good sign )

Yes, generally EWCM is a sign of Ov, but you can - afaik - get a second LH surge later on etc too sometimes, just to throw you off But that's why it's better to track using a variety of methods (temps, CM, OPKs etc) But I'd say to be cautiously optimistic that if your CM is changing at least your body knows it should be doing something

Thanks I don't think the doctor would want to do a scan because it was so early (only 5 weeks) but I haven't spoken to them yet. Couldn't really face it today but will give them a call tomorrow to see.

You could try a hpt to see if you still have the hcg hormones remaining? Mine didn't disappear until after 2 AFs, but I was further along. (((Hugs))) Mr & Mrs Emsbet:(

Thanks. I did think about doing a test but haven't I might ride it out for a few days and see how it goes first.

Thank you. I hope that's true. We are both keen to get going again and have our fingers crossed that we won't have to wait too long for another chance.

Yes. Usually last day of ewcm is the most fertile day, and ov is imminent:cool: If your last day of ewcm was Monday, then you probably ov'd on Tuesday, so you are 2DPO:) AF should arrive at around 15DPO (fingers crossed it wont:cool:).

Hi QQ, thanks for thinking of me

Bit strange this month, I've had cramps but they seemed to last a few days rather than usual 4th day before AF and they were more niggling than painful iyswim. My chest is so painful and, this may totally seem completely random, but my sense of smell seems to have gotten really sharp :huh: but that is probably an over active imagination :rotfl:

Looking at my chart (1st month I've tried using it) my temps seem quite high still, don't know whether that's a good thing or a bad thing

Anyway, AF is due either tomorrow or Saturday as I'm usually 25 or 26 days so we shall see what happens. I've been good and resisted the urge to test (shines my halo).

Just waiting to OV next week so keeping BDing to every other date until next week!! Trying to keep it fresh and not functional is the order of the day at the moment. Not so easy ;)
