Thank youEmsbet - I'm beginning to think we must think in the same way as I know that in your position I'd just need to know... I'm feeling your pain as I daren't hope or try to prepare for either event. Can you go A&E for an earlier scan? I do not normally promote abuse of the NHS but this must be torturous and stressful which is no good either way.
Uncertainty really is a b*itch with PMT and no chocolate.
If i am boring you: then please post... so we can chat:D
Thank you. The doctor said that there was not much point because if bean is still there I am only 5w1d and so they wouldn't be able to see anything unless it was in the wrong place i.e ectopic but I'm not having any pain so that's not likely.
I've decided to just assume it's gone and then if it is good news next week then great. if it's bad I will be sad but not as bad as if I get my hopes up again.
P.S you're not boring me. I'm off work today so chatting is keeping me distracted

Emsbet - reading your post I know you're not getting your hopes up (and in the same position as you I'd be doing the same thing) but I am very hopeful for you and I'm sure everyone else is x x x
Hopefully you'll find out either way sooner rather than later!0 -
How many pages of posts today?! :rotfl:
Have just been laughing out loud at some of them!
Thanks to all the replies on my previous post - I dont understand the whole multi quote thing so :T to everyone!
Well, I am now thinking towards second cycle - I am a member of FF but I cant change anything on there until AF arrives as it just starts my cycle all over again.
Can someone please (in as simple terms as poss!) explain OPK's, when you use then, how you read then and what they mean! I want to be prepared for my 2nd cycle and have the thermometer ready and waiting and FF just  to be used properly instead of looking at all the pretty pictures!
fingers crossed emsbet xxx0 -
Plus it's a distraction from all the things we don't really want to think about, eh?

<< Nosey.
We are pretty awesome!
For me it's goat's cheese, cured meats and shellfish that I miss!
I'm not at work - booked a day off because the organisation I work for is waiting to be shut down so there is chuff all to do most of the time and it is somewhat soul destroying sitting thumb twiddling!

Hahaha my neighbour always used the line "Im not a racialist but . . . . " and then proceeded to put Jim davidson to shame with his observations !
2ba3c,
Just to echo whats already been said, doesnt matter what path any of us start on, or what route we take, our final destination is the same

Thanks.
Don't forget to post you link to your chart if you haven't already so we can all spy on you.
This was QQ's explaination on the use of OPKs that I copied a while ago
"You should test once a day, in the afternoon, after holding the pee by not drinking for 3hrs. I do it before I go to bed. When the lines starts to get darker, test 3 times a day incl FMU (first morning urine)."
You should start testing maybe around CD10. When you get a line as dark (or darker) than control it's time to start BDing (although it can't hurt to start every other day as soon as you get a faint line!)

Kidding
When you order them (there's a link on the first page) there's a guide. Ideally: Use from approx CD10, once or twice a day, usually in the arvo, after not peeing for like 3hrs, basically until you stop getting lines (or AF arrives, whichever comes sooner...I admit I got bored waiting for a +ive)"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

I had a housemate at uni who did the same until one day I shouted at her for being a silly closed minded b*tch - she soon stopped, or at least didn't say things around me
