Hi everyone, can I join?

Generally a prolific poster on the forums but I'm using another account as I don't want my friends on here to know we're trying in case it takes a while.

A little about us, we met in 2007 and we married last September. DH has been ready to start trying for years now but the wedding was always going to come first! I'm finally feeling mentally ready, I have a history of high blood pressure and I'd love 3 children so at 26 I've decided sooner is better for my health than later.

I had my implant out on Thursday, so we're officially trying. I don't really know very much about TTC, I think we're taking a bit of a relxed approach - although I am very impatient so we'll see!

Fannyanna - I'm fairly sure I read on another ttc forum of plenty of people who are overwight and on clomid. I think it varies area to area on whether they'll prescribe it. Hope I don't have to find out BMI 30 is a looooong way away for me.

Bigzippy - I hope you enjoy the make up party. You'll have fun once you get there, honest!
Kaemi - Welcome and I hope your stay is short.

On the excercise front, I just bought zumba for the wii, and tried it out today for the first time. It's really good. I did 2 x 20 mins 'easy' classes and sweated buckets. It was good fun, but not for the unco-ordinated :rotfl: It really is harder than it looks....

Doctor rang me back this morning as my blood tests came back super quick (only taken yesterday). She said it does look like pcos from the blood results. She's already referred us to the fertility unit, and they'll confirm for sure. The appointment is estimated for about 4 weeks. She said they'll likely test my tubes etc to make sure everything is ok, and then prescribe for pcos. Hope this is the start of a relatively short journey for us

Won't stop me BD'ing again tomorrow :rotfl:

That's probably what it's called, I have heard someone mention it on here before.

To be honest I haven't really looked into PCOS. Just had a quick google at symptoms (which is probably never a good idea ) and maybe. I've got the irregular periods, never been sure that i've ovulated, I was going to mention to my doctor as up until about a week ago I have had a month of awful spots on my face and even on my chest which I have never had before. I do usually get a few spots near AF, but not as bad as it has been this cycle. I haven't got the excess hair or overweight symptoms though.

My doctor seems to think it's just because i'm underweight. My mum was exactly the same though and never had any problems until she got older and had me as she had endometriosis (sp?).

My doctor is really good and helpful though so I'll see what she says when I go next time. I'm guessing she won't do much yet as we haven't been trying a year. I was thinking if I have another 90+ day cycle again it will be :eek:

Really low on PMA today...a family member who knows we are TTC and how long my cycles have been decides to text me moaning that she is a day late from a normal cycle...i replied saying she should trying having one that lasts 95 days and then later says "yay, AF's finally arrived". How inconsiderate!! Grrr...think im just a grumpy bum anyway today...maybe AF is coming

Bigzippy- Your neice's party sounds so fun! I'm awful at applying make up though. I hope you got her present sorted? I couldn't leave present buying to the day!

You may just have PCO (like me). In any case, once you ov, you have the same chance as normal people:)
