 It makes a huge difference. You can't reliably temp unless you take it at the same time every day, after at least 3 hours solid sleep, and before you do anything! including roll over, having a drink, getting out of bed. So I should think if you're getting up, having a shower and getting dressed, you needn't bother temping, there's no point. Why not take at look at the charting courses on FF, explains it all in there!!

for example if my temp is 97.2 tomorrow FF will put ov at CD72, with a stagard line to indicate not all fertility signs match! if my temp is anything above, it puts ov at CD76 with a certain solid red line for ov. Makes a huge difference.

:rotfl: haha that's clearly where I'm going wrong then! I'd read through the stuff on FF, must have missed the temping bit. Thanks for setting me straight :D

Oh and you got married on my birthday :D

bigzippy and QQ - I've added you to FF.

xcharlie - I really hope you don't make the 100! Wishing and praying for AF for you..... :)

My thermometer arrived yesterday, so I took my first temp this morning. Asked hubby to wake me at 6am every day to take it as he wakes me before he goes out to work, so apart from the odd day, I'm up before then, it should be easy enough. OH said last night "I hate to ask, but where do you take your temp" :rotfl: We already have a thermometer, but I needed 2 decimal places, so I ordered a new one. I'll be sticking with orally although I know you can take it elsewhere too, lol

Went to docs yesterday and she was great. She sent me for bloods this morning (CD21) and has referred us to gynaecologist at hospital to avoid any unecessary waiting. The wait for my area is about 4 weeks. She also said she's betting on pcos, and the blood results will be back on Wednesday. At least I feel like we're taking the next step.

Today, I still have ewcm and know I should be about to ovulate, but cbfm says low. :rotfl:

Off to read up a bit more on pcos.....................

I do it orally too. I didn't know one could temp in the other place until dad asked me where:shocked: I wonder if my mum temped in there:shocked:

One of my colleague was really disappointed I got BFN, he had an eye out for one of my projects in July:D He thought if I get BFP, then I'd give it to him. Cheeky:naughty:

Great iykwim, lol. I know where to come with my questions, lol. I'm still researching - It seems to be not much of a problem for some people and more of a problem for others, and that the symptoms vary as well, with some people still ovulating etc. Although, some have even worse cycles than me, and a select few with virtually no AF at all. Treated with medication (usually metformin or clomid?). Can increase chance of multiple births and also mc. What else should I know? :rotfl:

Yep and I have been since I was pre-teens. I joined slimming world in January to lose weight knowing that it would help with ttc and if and when we needed help from the doctor etc, this would be a problem. Hubby joined with me too and comes to weigh in etc, and we've both lost 1.5 stones. It's working, although not as quickly as I'd like. (21 lbs in 18 weeks).
