Urgh am getting so fed up with my body!

Have now had incredibly light AF/spotting since Sunday and it's showing no signs of either stopping or turning into CD1 AF. It happened in April too but I had four days of spotting, then two days of nothing then AF turned up on the 7th day (and I rested :rotfl:) but this is now six days of continuous stupid spotting and I'm getting fed up with it!

OH is also getting cranky cos the BD-ing has stopped (he was enjoying the increased frequency :rotfl:) but I can handle that, I just really wish my body would figure out what it's doing!!

    Hope everyone's having a nice Friday :D

Haha, yeah I did a cheeky HPT, even though I was fully expecting a BFN. Not too sure about when I ov'd this month as didn't get my OPKs from Amazon in time to start using them. FF reckons I could have ov'd between CD12 and CD14, purely because I recorded one day when I had EWCM, but then it also has it as being CD17, although I think that's based on the average dates of my last few cycles.

To be honest, I just don't think there's enough data on my FF chart to accurately pinpoint anything for this month so really it's just a case of wait and see if next AF actually turns up.

I know there's nothing I can do, I'm just not very good at waiting :rotfl:

I'm still researching - It seems to be not much of a problem for some people and more of a problem for others, and that the symptoms vary as well, with some people still ovulating etc. Although, some have even worse cycles than me, and a select few with virtually no AF at all. Treated with medication (usually metformin or clomid?). Can increase chance of multiple births and also mc. What else should I know? :rotfl:
I found it interesting that PCOS can bring/be caused/encouraged by insulin resistance. I got tested for this and have now been shown to have Impaired Glucose Tolerance (like a pre-diabetes) which then has an affect on how your body deals with sugar (lay down more as fat than you should - hence metformin helps cos it's a diabetes treatment primarily) and also with hormones.

Might be worth asking to be checked for this? The weight loss will/should help - and metformin, if you do have IGT or any kind of insulin resistance, should help it come off quicker. Oh and well done on the weight loss so far too! :)

    HTH

    (Btw I have it too)

Well, for once my temps haven't moved for days....what's that about?!
