PMA is really lacking right now! Don't know why, given that I've had a lovely day pottering in the garden, but I feel really "meh" right now. Walked up to the shops to get some milk and couldn't stop thinking about having/wanting a baby :(

Also, I've had a tummy ache all day, that feels like AF. I thought it could be ov pains (again!) but it hurts much more than usual, and is coupled with back pain which I always get with AF. Plus I don't have any EWCM :( I really hope it's not AF as I haven't ov'd again this cycle and I won't be able to shake the feeling that there is something wrong with me...

    Woe is me! :rotfl:

    Sorry :o

    Kaemi - welcome
twigpig - good work on the wii, weight will drop off you in no time if you keep that up! :D
charlie - I hope your doc will be helpful, make sure you tell them all the details :)
bigzippy - I'd be useless at a makeup party, I hate makeup! Can't believe 8-year-olds are already into that, I was still climbing trees and catching bugs at that age...!

You may just have PCO (like me). In any case, once you ov, you have the same chance as normal people:)

Thanks QQ. Can I ask what it means without the "S"? Is it just that you have the polcystic ovaries but not all the symptoms? At least it sounds promising even if I did have it :)

BB1984- Thanks. Last time I went I had so much to remember that I wanted to mention I did forget, maybe I should write it down! You sound like me, random cramps that lead to no AF....thinking it may be ov but no EWCM. I hope something happens soon :o

Mozzyc- BBQ sounds lovely! We had the nicest day when I got up and by this afternoon it's been pouring down. I think we need a storm as it's been so muggy and i'm feeling headachey :p

When I saw the list I thought I was a day out :rotfl:

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Did anyone's OH start reacting oddly when they first started TTC? Mine is freaking out that he can't provide well enough and we won't be able to afford for me to take full maternity leave.

Hmmm well before we even started TTC we started saving up as OH didn't want us to start until we had some savings. We've now been TTC for so long we've got quite a nice little pot so I should be able to take the full maternity leave (as my companies mat pay is pretty rubbish - 6 wks full, 6 wks 90%, rest SMP)
So its one upside of us taking so long but I'd rather have the baby than the money:o

BB - I've also had that feeling today & yesterday. Last night I was having a quick read of the <12 wks thread and just felt so jealous & had such a strong yearning to be pg myself.

Me and OH bd'd earlier & afterwards (whilst I was lying on my back with my legs in the air:rotfl:) we watched the human body conception episode & it made him realise just how hard it can be to conceive. He was kissing my belly & rubbing hoping he has done the job!! Bless OH, hHe's made such a huge effort to BD all this week as it was ov time - he is so desperate for us to get pg now :happyhear
We keep thinking this must be our month but it never is :(.

Mine freaked out - and still is ! My first 'baby' is 8 this year and my youngest is 6 on tuesday  and he has never stopped worrying about money. This time round we have barely talked about it, other than for him to offer a few weak reasons not to have another (previously it was the argument that we would need a bigger car and therefore a bigger garage - our car died last year and our new picasso seats 3 children in the back AND fits in the garage :T)

I would LOVE to have a hubby who asks if we are dtd at the right times, or take an interest in my cycles in any way :o but I dont so there is no point getting hung-up on it. Its just the way he is and its the same with everything - he drags his heels as he is one of lifes worriers and so anything life changing like this sends him into a spin.

the best way i cope with his apparent lack of interest is to lurk here, i know he cares and will be awesome when the time comes but he just doesnt want to talk about it for every second of every day from now till then

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend, im curled up in bed waiting for AF to appear. Ive had cramps every day since I Ov'd so feeling bit sorry for myself today :(
    Bow Ties ARE cool

    Welcome Kaemi :)
Bigzippy- Your neice's party sounds so fun! I'm awful at applying make up though. I hope you got her present sorted? I couldn't leave present buying to the day!
I didn't leave the present buying to the day (never do!) I just wasn't sure where I'd stashed them! :p Found them in the end, but no wrapping paper...so had to use bits of christmas paper, and a cut open brown paper primarni bag! :rotfl: Naughty Auntie Zippy! :p She was happy with the birthday presents though, and the party seemed to go well (even if her favourite uncle (DH) wasn't there :o I didn't know they were expecting him! :o). She got to wear the flowergirl dress she wore at my wedding (20months? ago) again though, bless her, and I did french plaits inn her hair, so she looked very cute all in all :A

    I was like that y'day :o

Trust me, me too! It's not my idea all this girly stuff!!:rotfl: Up until like yesterday (almost literally) her favourite colour was pink (not my choice ;)) and I have been informed today that it's now light blue...and her mum has spend the day repainting her bedroom blue!! :p
I don't mind makeup as such, but I only have it on for special occasions - weddings, occasionally birthdays etc. Apparently I do a decent enough job though (I think it's cos I do art rather than cos I'm girly iyswim) cos people thought my wedding makeup was professionally done

Yeah I used to lurk there, until I found out about the PCOS. Now it feels like it's gonna be so long before I get the chance to go over there that I can't bring myself to any more :o
