Smash, how are you? Did you ov at CD7?
svjenni, have you tested?
Lemon Tree, Derby & ilovecushions, where are you?
Hi QQ - I don't think so, temps not high enough. I've been to docs and they are going to do some tests based on previous medical problems. Sorry the IVF didn't work out this time. Smash xxQue Sera, Sera0 -
Good morning
The operation is for varicose veins
have had them done 2 times already, but the 1st one needs sorting as it didnt heal properly. Really want to get it done tho as its so hard to get a Dr to refer you , even tho i have had them for 20 yrs! lol But of course i would much rather have a BFP
Sorry it didnt work out for you QQ.
My Hubby isnt really interested in Ov etc, just impatient there isnt a baby yet! I too had to prove we could afford another one, but also told him i wanted another and that i was coming off the pill, if he didnt like it it was up to him to do something about itI knew he wouldnt though!!!
Have a good Sunday everyone, i have a very poorly DD3 so having a lazy day today xxxMummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,and a handsome lil BOY 03.03.12 :T

What tests are you doing? Is it TTC related?
Sorry I'm been nosey, it's just that I have nothing else think about:p No need to answer if you don't want to:oHave a good Sunday everyone, i have a very poorly DD3 so having a lazy day today xxx
Hope you'll get your varicose veins fixed:) Is it not a recommended procedure if you are pg?0 -
It is done under a general anasthetic, so they wont do it if i`m pregnant. Have to do a urine sample the morning of the operation too! Kinda thinking its probably a waste of time me having them done anyway if i`m TTC, as they always get worse when i`m pregnant! xxMummy to 3 beautiful GIRLS, 9, 7 and 3,

Hallo all,
I haven't read back fully but QQ I cannot express how I feel about the IVF. I wish you and your husband all the best and hope you remember that you have each other. (I'm not very good at expressing myself lie this, but I send you my thoughts). How are your parents?
To all, I hope you are all well congratulations where needed, commiserations where needed.
The Pralines household has been busy with social events, work and study. Oh and cleaning - I have decided to help Mr Praline more by cleaning more often and thoroughly so that my stress levels are kept low! (Prior to this I did a weekly/fortnightly clean as required and he cleaned more or less every day). We had a major sort-out of things as well. I have a list a mile long of issues that I am trying to clear as my blood pressure rose a few weeks back and the doc signed me off.
I was never 'unhappy' but I do feel a lot calmer now.
TTC-ing news - well, I think I'm in the ovulation period, Mr Praline's app advises that I should be, but neither of us could be bothered to BD often. (I think only twice in the past week). I haven't been using the ovulation tests as.... well... I forgot:embarasse.
I still haven't seen what a positive looks like. :rotfl:
Mr Pralines did shove a pregnancy test under my nose yesterday morning mind you! I was sick first thing... looked up from the white telephone and saw him holding a test out. It was negative as expected - I had to remind him that milk is not a friend of my stomach and I had already had 2 coffees one which he made himself! A true DUH moment (I tested anyway just in case).

Fannyanna - Congrats on the AF! At least now you know roughly where you are with things (assuming I have remembered your cycle correctly that is!)
EmmyLou - I feel your issues regarding the health issues. I have an MRI soon for my knee and then a possible operation depending on what they find. We haven't stopped TTC but my problem is I wouldn't be able to support my weight easily if I got pregnant before the op. I am already falling over a fair bit...
Oh and re Mr Pralines interest - it is a geek interest I think. There is a certain look on his face when things fascinate him and he has that when my reproductive organs are discussed. In any case, he has to have a good interest because if left up to me it probably wouldn't happen. As I've never been pregnant before I am terrified that I cannot.
In a nutshell - interest isn't always a great thing!

I feel like this too, although I know (hope) that's it completely irrational as I have no evidence yet that I cannot get pregnant. There's always that niggling thought in the back of my mind though. Still, will just have to cross that bridge if we come to it.:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
Evening all!
I hope you all had a great weekend - I haven't been on much as it was DH birthday so we've had lots of celebrations including a Eurovision house party last night with a Eurovision t-shirt competition. 20 adults all wearing t-shirts they had designed and we had Eurovision style voting! It was much fun and we didn't get to bed until 5am! We were all then awake at 8am so I am a little tired today but luckily I have booked tomorrow off work! :j Poor DH can't have the time off so he has to get up tomorrow.
Anyway with the alcohol and lack of sleep I didn't bother temping today I have however I started my OPKs yesterday. No line yesterday but early this afternoon there was a very faint line and about half an hour ago I did another and the line was still fainter than the control but darker than it was earlier. I know that a faint line is a negative but is the fact that it has gotten darker over the day a good sign or does it mean nothing at all?
4nnabella and Praline - I have the same thought re: wondering whether or not I can even get pg- I guess it's quite natural when TTC #1
Fannyanna - congratulations on the AF, fingers crossed that your cycle will get going now and you start ov-ing soon.
Hugs to all who need them

Hi all,
Been away for weekend at a friends house for Eurovision party. Good entries this year! Was hard to choose a winner. CM started yesterdsay with sticly, and then creamy today. So we are off again for another month. Hubby really showed an interest in baby making yesterday. Still claims he doesnt want one and isnt excited in the slightest but seemed interested in dates n' stuff. He wants to go to eurovision next year so has decided (this will so change ...) that he wants to start baby making sooner so that I will be more settled after the birth and he can go. LOL. Men are sooo funny ... He thinks it's cute i'm finally getting excited0 -
Bigzippy- Think we have all had to go down the xmas paper route for wrapping paper, I make out like I meant to do it as a joke
.
Wish I was good at hair and make up...I haven't got a clue!
Twigpig- Is Zumba on the wii any good? I really wanted to get the DVD's to do with my OH but they are £45-£50 ...not very MSE! I just wasn't sure if they made the Wii version into more of a game and the novelty would wear off?
Just wondering, I know a few people on here have mentioned they suffer with IBS as well as me. I take Mebeverine and my doctor told me (after looking in a book!) it would be fine to carry on taking while TTC and wondered if anyone else was taking it and what they were told. I'm not looking for any medical advice, just what they have been advised about it. Just had a quick look online and it seems you can if you think the benefits outweigh the risks (not sure what they are!) but I don't want it to interfere with TTC or if I was preg and I found out something was wrong I wouldn't be able to live with myself. I only take 1 tab a day as that seems to work, and I know I would struggle if I stopped altogether.
CD97....maybe i'm one of those very rare people where im preg and it isn't showing on the test (I can wish!)
I just had a nap (3hours!) and I had the CRAZIEST dream about QQ, I would love to share but you might all think i'm a fruit loop....0
