Hello ladies, just a quick q if thats okay?

I have invested in some Agnus Castaus (sp?) this afternoon after readinng here that it may help regulate cycles etc.

My q is, how/when do i take it?? The bottle says 2 capsules a day but is this in the morning, evening, midday?? :confused

Also, am i ok to start taking it today or do i need to wait for a certain day?!?

I should really apologise in advance cos i am the queen of stoopid q's and i'm sure this won't be the last :rotfl:

Hiya, not a silly question, Start taking it whenever you like. Just make sure you take them will a cold drink (pref water) and a proper meal. Does it say twice a day, or two a day. Twice a day means 2 at different times a day, Two a day could be taken two at once.

I really am loving my fake pregnancy symptoms - NOT

Tuesday and Wednesday I felt really quite faint and not dizzy but like I was on a boat.

Wednesday evening I also started feeling sick. Felt really quite sick yesterday and still a bit today but not so bad. It's that acidy type of sickness too. I can really feel it in my throat.

To top it off I now have a killer headache (I know that's not a fake pregnancy symptom) which is making me feel even more sick.

I'm feeling thoroughly grumpy and have snapped at Hubby lots already and he's not even home - just him ringing me is annoying the hell out of me - oh yes, that would be one of my other fake pregnancy symptoms - mood swings

Oh and I've had the tiredness, sensitive boobs and keep sneezing. It's amazing the hold your subconscious has over your body. Oh and I keep needing the loo. Seriously if you told me nose bleeds were a pregnancy symptom they'd probably start up.

Right I've finished my waffle of a moan now :D

I have been like this for the last 2 cycles ... thing is when the real thing does happen how are you suppose to tell the difference between the fake and the real symptoms?

Hi Busy Bee. I think am "the pregnant lady with no +ve OPK!"

I didnt temp- my getting up times werent consitent enough so i gve it up very quickly! I just used OPK's- cheapies from amazon like lots of ladies here have got. I just started testing in line with "Normal " cycles, and then started testing either side of that when i wasnt getting even a faint line. When i started finding faint lines, i knew roughly when it was and could concentrate on testing on those days to get the darkest line i could. So whilst i never got what was defined as a proper positive, i knew roughly when it was. The EWCM was something i noticed more towards the end of my TTC, it got very noticable about 2 days before my peak fertility.

    Does that help?

(P.s hope noone minds me lurking still now i'm no longer TTC. If so tell me and i'll shuffle off. I just miss the banter here and the >12 weeks is SOOOO quiet!)

Thank you Kira ...It does help - We have BD quite a bit this week and I have had the fainter lines but no definate although there has been EWCM so fingers crossed this month is my month :o

Hubby's just come home and told me that someone came into his work today with a baby. He said he couldn't even turn around and look at it. We got our first BFN this morning so I think he was a bit "hormonal" :D

Poor thing! I think sometimes us ladies forget that it also affects our OHs. Mine had a bit of a freak out when he saw the opks and thermometer arrived today! ;)

    Evening all!

I'm so pleased everyone seems to have made up with each other.

Did anyone see Inside the Human Body last night? It was all about conception, and it was amazing! I think it was on BBC2 or 3 - will have a google and see if I can find it on iplayer so I can post a link for anyone interested in watching it. Not sure if it was a repeat, but I haven't seen it before, and it may be of interest to some of you.

Haven't had any BD tonight so far (may do later) as I came home from work really tired, with a headache, and sneezing - I think it may be hayfever, so I'm going to take an antihistamine in a minute. Oh, just had a thought, does anyone know if antihistamines are safe to take when you're TTC?

Hope everyone is well - nice to see some people who have concieved sharing their tips.

ETA - have posted the link to the programme.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

I don't think you can take them - iread an article about a girl who had extreme food allergies and doctors told her antihistamines would harm the baby so she ate big macs the whole time because they don't give her a reaction!

I'll have a looksie on google now see if I can see anything. - Here you go http://www.nhs.uk/chq/pages/935.aspx?categoryid=54&subcategoryid=129

Thanks emsbet - looks like it's ok to take the cetirizine that I have then as it's on the recommended list in the article.

    Hi Ladies

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I don't get on here much and by the time I manage to catch up there's no time to post :p

It's so sad to read the posts from the last couple of days. I don't have a problem with anyone posting here if they want to, we are all meant to be supporting each other!

The best of luck to Greener Grass & Phunkles. I completely understand how hard it must be when you have been trying so long and someone here has only been trying a month gets a BFP, but it's not there fault.

I really hope you can come back at some point and the TTC ladies-I miss you!!!!

CD88 so i'm hoping AF will be due this weekend, 90 days is long enough.

Did anyone watch Fast food baby this week? One word...shocking!!!!

My opks arrived today and I'm just after a bit of advice.
My cycle was 35 days last month (or 36 - I kinda lost count ;) ) but as this was my first month off the pill I don't know if this is my true cycle length.
The chart that came with them says that a cycle length of 35 day I should start testing on CD18. Do you think it's best to start earlier incase of a shorter cycle this month bearing in mind I only have one months data to work with? If so any suggestions on when I should start?

    Thanks in advance

Hubby and I have just sat and watched this. It was really good. Two comments - the egg looks like a scotch egg and that poor, poor woman in Africa.

Thanks for posting the link :T
