Hello ladies, just a quick q if thats okay?
I have invested in some Agnus Castaus (sp?) this afternoon after readinng here that it may help regulate cycles etc.
My q is, how/when do i take it?? The bottle says 2 capsules a day but is this in the morning, evening, midday?? :confused
Also, am i ok to start taking it today or do i need to wait for a certain day?!?
I should really apologise in advance cos i am the queen of stoopid q's and i'm sure this won't be the last :rotfl:0 -

I don't know when you are supposed to take them but I have mine with my evening meal. It's either those or folic acid that you are supposed to take with food so I take them at the same time so I remember them both
I don't know why an angry face appeared at the top of my reply-I'm on my phone and it does silly things sometimes.
P.S you're question isn't silly

Does anyone here have thyroid problems ?
Im suffering with problems during my cycle and have had various blood tests - at one point i was showing all the signs of menopause apart from periods stopping  and the only thing that they could find was the start of an under active thyroid. My doctor doesnt think that my symptoms are anything to do with my thyroid and could only suggest going on the pill as a solution. hence why we are now trying for another, with the scare of thinking i may not have anymore I realised i really would like 1 more
So back to it, Im getting cramps, pinching pain discomfort across my lower abdomen, boob ache and severe mood swings for 3 or 4 days before my period and also at ovulation for anything up to 5 days either sidewhich means im 'normal' for about a week a month ! i also am really fatigued at certain times during the month and sometimes sleep all day or can only manage to do basic things. Is this familiar to anyone ? It all started just before christmas, prior to which i was nice and regular with a 2 days flow and next to no discomfort.
I realise medical advise is a no, im after personal experiences really
(sorry that was so long)

I really am loving my fake pregnancy symptoms - NOT
Tuesday and Wednesday I felt really quite faint and not dizzy but like I was on a boat.
Wednesday evening I also started feeling sick. Felt really quite sick yesterday and still a bit today but not so bad. It's that acidy type of sickness too. I can really feel it in my throat.
To top it off I now have a killer headache (I know that's not a fake pregnancy symptom) which is making me feel even more sick.
I'm feeling thoroughly grumpy and have snapped at Hubby lots already and he's not even home - just him ringing me is annoying the hell out of me - oh yes, that would be one of my other fake pregnancy symptoms - mood swings
Oh and I've had the tiredness, sensitive boobs and keep sneezing. It's amazing the hold your subconscious has over your body. Oh and I keep needing the loo. Seriously if you told me nose bleeds were a pregnancy symptom they'd probably start up.
Right I've finished my waffle of a moan now0 -
Fannyanna, I had a virus last Month and had lots of those symptoms. People kept asking if I was pregnant and I just wanted to scream at them!!
GG, thanks for the pm, I can read them, although it takes a while to load! Just can't reply. I appreciate your message, I hope you know I took no offence, I know I caused the issue myself by not explaining that I have very random and sporadic access to proper internet. Especially now I have no job!!!10/10 [STRIKE]£12,156.26 [/STRIKE] 11/10 [STRIKE]£11,950[/STRIKE] 04/11[STRIKE] £12,500 [/STRIKE]Ooops! Can I ask a question please for the ladies who do not temp ... My thermometer dropped in the sink so broke mid way through cycle so I decided to give it a miss this month ... How do you know when you ov - some pregnant lady (sorry I can not recall name!) said that she had never had a +ve hpt (?) but had still managed a BFP.

Hi Busy Bee. I think am "the pregnant lady with no +ve OPK!"
I didnt temp- my getting up times werent consitent enough so i gve it up very quickly! I just used OPK's- cheapies from amazon like lots of ladies here have got. I just started testing in line with "Normal " cycles, and then started testing either side of that when i wasnt getting even a faint line. When i started finding faint lines, i knew roughly when it was and could concentrate on testing on those days to get the darkest line i could. So whilst i never got what was defined as a proper positive, i knew roughly when it was. The EWCM was something i noticed more towards the end of my TTC, it got very noticable about 2 days before my peak fertility.
Does that help?

(P.s hope noone minds me lurking still now i'm no longer TTC. If so tell me and i'll shuffle off. I just miss the banter here and the >12 weeks is SOOOO quiet!)Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

I take two but then the bottle I have says take two twice a day so may up the dosage. I guess it depends on the strength- mine are 400mg.
Kira posted on her yesterday the dosage that she took before her bfp
Sorry I can't be more help but I'm no expert so can only tell you what I do.
Another thing it days not suitable for pg women so as soon as I get a bfp I will stop taking them
