Wow - i'd forgotten how fast this thread moves!!

Altho it does seem to be somewhat un-harmonious (is that even a word?!?) at the mo. FWIW, i'm genuienly chuffed when anyone announces a BFP, newbie or not. The gift of a child is a blessing for everyone, whether it happens straight away or whether it has taken time. I am a firm believer in fate and that we will ALL get our bfp's when it is meant to be.

I think with a topic such as this, it is healthy to have a sense of humour otherwise we would all get bogged down month after month and bring each other down instead of keeping each other up - which is what i thought the aim of the forum is. It is difficult to sometimes know how something is meant when it is 'annoymous' over the interweb but i think this is where we all need to take a step back and realise that 99.9% of comments are meant with no malice at all.

It would be a shame for this forum to stop being such a source of valuable info and friendly 'ears' for others who are in essentially in the same position and ideally placed to provide pick me up's

Anyways, thats my opinion - i really really hope i haven't offended anyone

Muchos muchos sticky baby dust to you all

Is it normally like this because as another relative newbie I'm now feeling extremely uncomfortable and am actually scared about posting anything for fear of upsetting someone. I'm testing on Sunday and whilst it is highly unlikely that I'll get a BFP (as I'm not 100% I ovulate) if by some miracle I do what should I do? Should I post the results and be flamed for being insensitive or should I just disappear quietly so that I don't upset anyone?

    You and me both!!!

Ok girls - it's about time we sort out the PMA on this thread
One good positive for today please (doesn't have to be TTC related) Please copy and repost with your name added (if you want to, of course :) )

Smash7 - going to the salon tonight to be de-Chewbacca'd (underarms, legs & miss-tache)
praline - I am here, alive, fed, watered and working... very happy with that.
QQuaver - Going to acupuncture tomorrow :)
Cleomolly - my girls 10th birthday (dog that is) so will be spoiling her rotten and taking them all on a nice long walk
Fannyanna - I am in a happy marriage with a loving man and am therefore able to TTC. Plus I know that man will be with me during the ups and downs on the TTC journey which I know will be a rollercoaster.
mrs_dave - I have a lovely OH, going on my jollies tomm, can't fit all my stuff in the case, money in my purse, a roof over my head and a tummy full of cornish pasty
Emsbet - I am married to the man of my dreams who makes me feel like a princess even when I don't deserve it :o I also have some lovely friends and great family! Oh and I also have found some really supportive people on this thread to share my journey with
Alwaysthebusybee - just ordered some lovely new make up :)
KellyG - Off out tomorrow and will drink far too much :)
BezzyK - Has started the holiday shopping, 34days to go……. Not that I’m counting or anything! :o
RebekahR ~ Has had a fabulous day buying lots of new flowers and grasses for the garden and now now off to plant them up :)

Nail bang on the head. It was not meant in a you should go here you should go there way. It was mearly a suggestion but actually I can see other points of view such as what QQ said about those who haven't had appointments/can't afford etc might get upset by that thread. Hadn't thought of that all.

I knew my post would offend some and I knew for sure it would GG. I am happy to apologise to all. I am also more than happy to leave the thread if this is what people want and create a waiting to concieve thread. But then as it seems I am far from the only one on the "wrong thread" I don't think I am going to take any suggestions of such to heart!

Can we start a waiting to TTC and just started to TTC thread please?
    fannyanna wrote: »
I think those that are waiting to start TTC should be free to post on this thread. Whenever you look up information on TTC it talks about preparing yourself and your body before starting to TTC.
I don't really see what the big problem is.

I don't see why people waiting to TTC can't post. When I was on the wedding board (I know not quite the same thing but still....) there were people on there posting who have not set a date and some who aren't engaged yet and some who, like me have had their wedding and never once did hear here anyone saying "you should be here"

Can we go back to the happier times of posting PMA's? ;)
I've been trying to think of one...

Okay, mine is that now that I've experienced hypermesis gravidarum while needing to look after a child, I can plan and prepare for it much better as it is totally different experience when you also have a child to consider.
