    Smash -my PMA is...

I have a lovely supportive husband who loves me dearly despite the fact that I'm very faulty (physically) and am often a moody cowbag (it's the hormones, honest guv'!)

The FF mobile site/app seems to still predict even when the main site doesn't, so the mobile one seems to agree with ov on CD30 and is predicting AF from now for the next week... I'm *trying* not to read too much into my temps still being high...especially as I know it's (probably) just because I have infections right now! :o It's hard not to let the "well maybe" hope creep in though... :o The OPKs are still negative though, so it's unlikely... and if not, well at least I know the metformin/losing a stone has probably helped in getting CD70 down to CD40ish...? (PMA all the way, obviously :p)

P.s. Fantafan, I (lurkingly) saw you graduate from this board, and am so happy that despite the worries with your early pregnancy you've gone on to term :D All the best for your labour and delivery :)

And for those of you who don't know me which is probably most, my first took 8 months ttc with the ladies support on here and I'm due Monday. :)

:hello: Hey Fanta, I've been wondering how you were doing. I knew you were due around my DH's birthday. Time has flown by  Hope it all goes smoothly, please pop back and let us know how you both are :D

GG - really me not replying to your pm, I apologise for that, it's partly down to mainly coming on here on my phone, which means I can only read pm's and not reply and partly due to my appalling memory.
I am very sorry if it upset you or made you feel that I didn't appreciate your kind words. They meant a lot at a very low point. Perhaps I should have acknowledged it with a proper post.

Well I'm going to carry on Smash's lovely idea of a PMA thought for the day!

It's almost the weekend and we are staying at home so we can finally get all the jobs round the house done that have been put off since before the wedding! :) Although it is raining this is also good as my plants get a much needed water (without me having to go round with my watering can! :p) plus it's supposed to brighten up later.

I am not returning, but just come on to say the following:

I am truly sorry if any of my comments about TTC'ing, at any time, have upset anyone. It was not my intention, and I hope you know that.

Also, I was unaware, until yesterday, how some of you felt about those of us who are not yet TTC'ing posting on the thread. I did ask if anyone would have a problem with it when I joined the thread, and several times since, and no one raised any objections. Now I am aware, I am leaving the thread. However, I would like to clarify that my reasons for joining were to gain some valuable knowledge and information on the subject and you ladies have been absolutely marvellous for that, and helped me to prepare myself and my body for the journey ahead. I appreciate that so much and wanted to say thank you, ALL of you.

COMP & Rebekah (and everyone else who is not yet TTC'ing) - the idea of a separate thread for us sounds great and I hope that if any of you other ladies would like to offer us advise, support, or even just a natter, that you will come over and say hello.

I hope that all this can now be put behind us and that this thread can return to what it is here for and that you ladies raise that PMA right back up again!

I also hope that you all get your BFP's asap!!

    Good Morning Ladies,

Happy Friday and all that :)

Following on from Emsbet, my PMA for today is that it is Friday :D

QQ, please could you mark me as CD1?
AF has arrived, albeit in a dark brown, rusty way. This is to be expected though as I ran two pill packs together to ensure the witch didn't arrive on my wedding day! Previously when I have done this I always got a dark, rusty period which I'm guessing is old blood?

First time in my life I am pleased that the witch has come knocking! Now I can plot some pouncing on DH for the critical point.

    SDB all round!

    ((hugs)) You post was lovely.

I know why you feel you have to leave but I for one will be VERY sad to see you go! I will definitely come over for a natter if you set up a new thread - that's if you'll have me :o

Erm I am going to make myself very unpopular here. It's more of an idea than a you must. But how bout those people who have been trying for mega ages 12months+ go over to that thread? That way you have the extra support and avoid all those that come in for 2 weeks and are preg 2 weeks later. I guess which every thread everyone is on though there will stil be those who are getting preg on each thread.

It's a difficult one. I popped into that thread and said hello etc, but every time I looked at it the talk seemed very much focussed on IVF/IUI or some sorts of treatments for infertility and even though we have been trying for ages and ages, I don't feel ready for those sorts of things and I don't know if I ever will be. Therefore I don't feel like I fit into that thread. On a day to day basis the things I am facing are pretty much the same as a lot of the newbies (OPKs, temping, blah blah blah) so I feel more at home here.

But I do know that it is the way the world is that people will come here and get PG really quickly and good for them. If someone posts something which I do think is a bit insensitive I just try to bite my lip and big up the PMA.

I've been trying to think of one...

Okay, mine is that now that I've experienced hypermesis gravidarum while needing to look after a child, I can plan and prepare for it much better as it is totally different experience when you also have a child to consider.

I had this and couldn't barely look after myself. Really hope that you don't get this with your next pregnancy.

Well my temps took a ridiculous nose-dive today and I spent part of the morning crying because I couldn't find my comfy jeans and my hands were feeling too weak to do anything. It's going to be a crap day I can tell :(
