QQ - My prediction is 9 for May including yourself
But thanks:oBeen struggling a bit on the PMA front, my friend I mentioned before who was deciding on an abortion or not, went to have it done on Tuesday but couldn’t go through with it. But I think she’s def made up her mind now tho so it’s all booked for Friday.Wouldn’t want to be in her situation tho, worst decision ever to have to make.

Here's my little happiness for today:
Mimi Arc en ciel: finished work today at 1pm, not back in until next week, I have house to myself until about 17:30 so TV is ALL mine and i know where the chocolate stash is!!!!!! :j0 -
Gosh I have another issue - I'm having an MRI in a week or two (gammy knee - driver played kamikaze with me last year and nearly killed me) when I booked it I thought I could just test the night before. But having read here - it would be negative anyway?
My knee is so bad there is no way I am delaying the MRI and operation that will probably ensue afterwards. Will need to speak to The Man about this...
Hugs to Bezzy. It sounds really hard for you, but at least you have a friend who considers you enough to confide in you and you have to remember that people do what is right for their circumstances. I find that if you take your eye off the PMA a black cloud draws you quickly in. (I have no decent imagery for this give me a moment...)
Oh and happy hols to all those who are going shortly. I'm a bit green with slight jealously we have no concrete plans yet. Our usual bookings before is beginning to wear thin. Our honeymoon was booked the week before the wedding!

Have to say, After a year of being part of this thread i am pretty disgusted with many of todays posts and the level of unsensitivity on the thread.
I personally do not believe that everybody apart from me and phunkles is envious of others when they have been here 5 mins and got thier BFP's, Maybe we are the only ones honest enough to say so rather than being fake nice!
I did not say I think anyone doesn't deserve thier BFP, i said it is very hard to see and not feel envious. I have been on this thread such a long time and at the start was happy for everyone, Once you've been here for ages and ages it starts to wear thin and you can't help but think exactly why do others find it so easy when i can't do it when trying as hard as i can.Anyway, ladies, untwist the fallopian tubes, group hug and go forth and multiply.
I personally think this is a very distasteful commentYou guys that are struggling with your emotions (GG, Phunkles) we have pm'ed in the past and you know how I feel about it, so Im going to say no more.
I think you will find I pm'd you when you were going through a rough time leanding a shoulder to lean on and you didn't reply. That felt nice, Thanks.how bout those people who have been trying for mega ages 12months+ go over to that thread?
What a lovely thing to say, I feel SO welcome now, I love how newbies are welcome and people who aren't ttcing for quite some time are welcome but those of us who have been here over a year are not! Lovely! While we're at it, Why don't we change the name of the thread to - not trying for a baby/trying for a baby/ pregnant!must_try_harder wrote: »
GG, I know you get particularly upset but unlike most of the people here you have a gorgeous child already. Now I am not suggesting for a minute that makes the TTC process any easier for you I am merely saying I would give my right arm to have one child right now and I really envy you. You are also young compared to a lot of people on here and have maybe 10 years or more in which to get a BFP (not that it’s going to take that long!), some people here are nearer 40 and don’t have that luxury.
I think it is unfair to judge me because I have a child already. If you think it makes it easier for one second month after month of no BFP you are very wrong. I am not even going to bother explaining to you how upset i am and have been each and every month that passes that I am not pregnant.
I also am not going to feel guilty that other people on this thread are older than me, some of those chose to wait till now to TTC! For me personally having children has always came before work/life which is why I am so devestated every month that goes on and it doesn't happen. Everyone has different priorities in life, having a family is first on mine and has been as long as i can remember.
I find it horrible so many people have begged euro to stay on the thread but noone has mentioned phunkles. She has been very upset today. She has been a part of this thread longer than 99% of the people on here and is also actively trying for a baby. I mistakenly thought thats what this thread was for.
I am officially bowing out of this thread. I have nothing to contribute any more, I think i will go talk about ttcing in all the other threads on this forum as apparently you can post anything in any thread!
I have had a few friends on this thread who i have provided support too and the ones that have had thier BFP's have not spoke to me since! Special thanks to them, you know who you are.0 -

I'm going to have to call. I need to speak with The Husband as I'd rather use some contraception until the MRI at least is done. I've only remembered it as an issue today as I am in a fair bit of pain and have a long walk (drinkypoos after work).
But I would be distraught (and I dread to think of how upset he would be) if I was pregnant and the MRI stopped it. Can you have a local
anaesthetic while pregnant? I would need pins put in - I do not think it is general?

*Sticks head in through the door*
I wasn't going to post this, but what the hell...
A while ago I posted suggesting a new thread for those who are waiting to try to conceive. Anyone think this has any merit? I (personally) feel uncomfortable posting here. I am not trying at the moment. The current plan is to have the implant out in December, then see how my cycle settles down so we can start TTC properly. By the time we actually start TTC I will have been waiting for 4 years.
At our wedding later this month, we will have a one month old at the ceremony (my niece), as well as a guest who is seven months pregnant. Then in the evening two of my cousins will have newborns (one was born this morning, the other is due 24th), and we have another pregnant guest. Despite the fact that we're not TTC yet, this will still be difficult for me.
Anyway, I'll continue lurking on here at least until QQ has tested, then I'll pop in every now and then to [STRIKE]read up on supplements etc[/STRIKE] see where people are buying their supplements and ICs etc.
Hope you all get the BFPs that you deserve.
SBDTADon't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
GG - we cross posted. I'm sorry you found my comment distasteful, I have explained my flippancy and reasoning before and did contemplate posting that. Without getting into a debate about it I would like to explain that I meant:
untwist the fallopian tubes = instead of untwist your knickers (don't get your knickers in a twist? - but keeping in line with the thread, it was getting a little heated and I was tyring to raise a smile for people who may ahve been upset)
group hug = as is
Go forth and multiply = make some BFP's. (a twist on what it normally means. It was meant in a kindly way).
I appreciate that the nuances in my posts do not always seep through. I'll delete it for you anyway.
Sorry you are so upset. x

untwist your fallopian tubes
in a thread where people are ttc and some people are here for a while that could be a possibility thats severly distasteful and slightly warped, but when im joining Alcoholics Anonymous later Ill be sure to say cheers/bottoms up/down it/one for the road and a variety of other phrases that arent going to be welcomed by people in that place (im not an alcoholic I dont even drink Alcohol but figured Id be welcomed there in case I ever decide to drink and if I ever get a Drinking problem.)
GG its not worth it its really not.
Only logged back in because yours was the last poster in here.
Ill be on facebook group but I doubt ill speak to any one over there.
And for the record I never wished it on anyone to not get a bfp.
And i do think the whole guessing on bfps was a good mood breaker until people started saying who they wanted to get them - i pick me and you but not you and not you so really thats just like wishing people dont get a bfp.
Susan I will reply to your pm when I get a chance and you will remain in my prayers.
GG Im off to join the Parenting Thread even though I dont have children but I think people over there might think its weird but apparently its selective....
OH yeah I forgot the whole asking about vitamins thing is wrong and is medical advise and while online shopping last night it states clearly - that if you are trying to get pregnant or pregnant you should seek medical advise from a professional about what supplements YOU should take so medical advise on the forum tut tut tut
(saying what you take personally isnt medical advise but asking and people advising tut tut tut!)Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together0
