Question - I cannot be bothered to search, I hope you all do not mind... I am having a lazy day at work today hence why I am here.

When do I start using the OPK's? My period should finish tomorrow. I really want to get a positive one now as so far I haven't seen one. The husband did ask if I were reading it the correct way last cycle (one eyebrow raised icon) I think it is CD5?

I'm having erotic dreams:D so I'm thinking of getting a positive, saving it then flashing it under the husbands nose every night! Plus I want to try this dead fishes business.

Oh - did I mention? I spent the whole of the bank holiday with The Husband checking my cervix morning and night! Which I found extremely funny especially as even he admitted he didn't know what he was looking for but was 'waiting for a change'. !!!!!!?

Ok girls - it's about time we sort out the PMA on this thread
One good positive for today please (doesn't have to be TTC related) Please copy and repost with your name added (if you want to, of course :) )

Smash7 - going to the salon tonight to be de-Chewbacca'd (underarms, legs & miss-tache)
praline - I am here, alive, fed, watered and working... very happy with that.

Cleomolly - my girls 10th birthday (dog that is) so will be spoiling her rotten and taking them all on a nice long walk
Fannyanna - I am in a happy marriage with a loving man and am therefore able to TTC. Plus I know that man will be with me during the ups and downs on the TTC journey which I know will be a rollercoaster.
mrs_dave - I have a lovely OH, going on my jollies tomm, can't fit all my stuff in the case, money in my purse, a roof over my head and a tummy full of cornish pasty
Emsbet - I am married to the man of my dreams who makes me feel like a princess even when I don't deserve it :o I also have some lovely friends and great family! Oh and I also have found some really supportive people on this thread to share my journey with
Alwaysthebusybee - just ordered some lovely new make up :)
KellyG - Off out tomorrow and will drink far too much :)
BezzyK - Has started the holiday shopping, 34days to go……. Not that I’m counting or anything! :o

CD6 is the norm, perhaps once a day to start with:)

Always alone – The leakage is something I worry about too. I tend to try not to move and stick my legs in the air. Don’t know if it helps or not but makes me feel slightly better that it doesn’t all fall straight out:)

QQ - My prediction is 9 for May including yourself :D

Praline – Love your posts, u make me giggle, not good when I’m sat in the office pretending to do spreadsheets with a big grin on my face. Looney…Who me?:rotfl:

Nothing new to report CD15 here waiting for a positive OPK. Been BD’ing a plenty, also brought some Conceive plus to see if that helps as don’t get much ewcm!

Been struggling a bit on the PMA front, my friend I mentioned before who was deciding on an abortion or not, went to have it done on Tuesday but couldn’t go through with it. But I think she’s def made up her mind now tho so it’s all booked for Friday. :( Wouldn’t want to be in her situation tho, worst decision ever to have to make.

    PMA girlys!!!!

:p It does, doesn't it. All I can think of when I hear dead fish is "Finding Nemo" - "All drains lead to the ocean!" :p I suppose the phrase "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming!" is also appropriate for BDing :D

It kinda depends on how long a cycle you have. If you have "the average" 28 day cycle (who does!!?), then Ov is approx 14 days after AF finishes and then approx 14 days after Ov is your luteal phase until AF arrives again. Based on what worked for me, i would start testing with OPK once a day about 10 days after AF, gradually going to two a day if you start getting a faint line, to pin it down better. I confess i was up to 3 or 4 a day at times, as i only got faint lines that got less faint but never a clear +ve. IMHO, as soon as you start getting a faint line, get BD'ing and stay BD'ing (obv not 24 hrs a day tho!;)) till the faint line goes again! Not everyone gets the full line so, act as if any line is it!
