  • Can anybody please help? I have read the guide, but there is no mention about products that you have to assemble at home.

Essentially, we bought a child's trampoline, assembled it and used it for a day before the stitching of the safety netting split. We contacted the retailer who passed us on to the manufacturer to supply a new net.

The manufacturer asked us for a picture which we willingly gave, only to be told that we had assembled it incorrectly so it was our fault and would have to pay for a new net. The instructions were pictures only and there were no specific written instructions about fitting the net in the way they required.

As this is a safety net, we thought it would last longer than 1 day and doesn't really say much about the overall strength of this product.

Can anybody advise how we should progress? Do we even have any rights??

In a slight conflict with Sports Direct at the moment.
Ordered both England Goalkeeper shirts in the end with a number 1 on. Turned up the other day and the number 1 on the front is under the Nike tick even though it should be in the middle, and they have just printed the Blue Number from the home kit on the yellow one (should be black), and white with red outline from the away shirt on the green one.
Sent them back as it's quite frankly a bit disgusting and they reckon as it's personalised I can't exchange it. A few points... 1. I am pretty sure they have added a note saying each keeper shirt will be printed with said numbers since I have complained, I certainly think I would notice something mentioning that as I would have got the shirts plain otherwise, and they said that on the ID bit it says shirt number positions may vary (which I haven't found yet!). Do I have anyway of getting these !!!!!! to exchange my shirts? I am not saying they have a vendetta or anything ridiculous like that against me, but I certainly think they have altered their webpage because of numerous complaints to "cover their backs" in recent days.
Bloody !!!!ed off at the moment, although not nearly as much as I will be if the same shirts get sent back to me. As an aside, why offer personalisation on a shirt if you don't have the correct items to do it?!
