He'll be good at that..he likes a bit of roleplay !

Hope all works out with (not so)DS. One day when he is settled with his own children he'll look back & be mortified at his behaviourA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

17 - far too old to be doing what he's doing. I'm prepared to wait, I just hope that he does back down eventually and sees the light.
GG Opps I did it again :silenced:
You know waking up to a sun filled bedroom this morning has made me feel so much better about things. I think I needed abit of sun. Not a lot planned today though as yet..but its still early

Sorry to hear you're going through a stressful time with DS. Hope a sunny weekend makes you feel a bit more positive about things in general. Great news on saving another £1k on the house purchase price too. Hopefully you can manage without the extra upstairs space for 6 months and perhaps start the work next spring when the weather is better.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

Most interview role play is about enabling you to show the interviewer how you actually deal with say a difficult person or some problems. I once did an interview role play where I was a member of staff that needed speaking to because someone said I had done something, and the woman being interviewed was so rude and agressive (just assumed I must be naughty and wrong and didn't try to understand or ask questions just did "I am parent you are naughty kiddie") that I was actually shocked (not just pretending to be shocked but actually like OMG we better not hire you!).
I expect your DS needs to finish growing up Iris - takes a lot longer in boys than girls.

I can imagine Katsura. Some people aren't good at things like that in RL never mind roleplaying. Apparently his friend has been on this interview and they throw a spanner in the works , which tbh is something that OH deals with all the time at work. He's a good manager and isn't afraid to broach employees. He manages well. They have had this placement open for ages though as they can't find the right candidate. Fingers crossed for him.
What a glorious day and we are off to the beach with 4 of the children and the FIL. I've got most of the food already but we're popping to Mr T's for some more bits now that we know FIL is coming. I can't wait. A nice cheap day out. All the boys ( men inc ) plan to do a spot of fishing too so we're taking the travel cot so baby blue has somewhere sand free to play whilst me and DD do whatever.
Also we are viewing the house at 11 , armed with the bed measurements so I know that the lads bunks fit o.k. I hope that they do as the lads were having a bedroom each in the extension. They don't mind waiting for their rooms though ...thankfully.I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -

It was a great day at the beach and very hot. It was just bliss sat there having our bbq.
We went to see the house and it was well..dirty ! There's no way it has been cleaned in any way since we last saw it 8 weeks ago so it was a bit disapointing really. It was tidy but dirty with dust everywhere and fag ash in the utility room sink and plant pots outside.
You can tell there they aren't bothering with it now they have a buyer. They are splitting up so I can't see them giving it a good clean for DH when we move in. I thought everyone would do that as you wouldn't want people thinking you were scruffy would you?
How I'm going to clean both houses and look after 2 little ones when OH moves the furniture I do not know. But we'll have to manage.
Moneysaving wise not much really I've bought this outside light yesterday for £52.60 for the new house which I adore , free delivery and 10% off and cashback of £5.90 which I'm really pleased about.:j
Edit wow BIGGGG light !It's not that big really!
I've registered for a product review on Tolooona today, not my cup of tea really but I registered anyway. You never know when it'll come in handy.
DS reached his payout on 1 poll :j other DS should get his next week :j
Otherwise I'm not doing surveys as OH is still off work at the moment and I haven't enough hours in the day. I DO feel better for it though and I don't think I will get back to doing many of them again.I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
I hope they do give it a clean or it's a lot of work for you and only common decency to give your buyers a clean home to walk into. When do you move?June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0
