Thanks both of you - that helps a lot. At least it won't break the bank now.

She's one that my brother hired locally so no agency fees. He still hasn't texted back yet *rolls eyes* . Doesn't he know it's important!

Might be worth hiring the cleaner for less stress, it's only a one off after all. You tempted by the waterfall house?

I've finally got round to changing my name on paypal, its only taken me 2 years but in my defence they ask you to upload the proof or fax so I've never bothered. I've sold something on ebay and now the buyer (who collected ) says it is damaged and wants a partial refund. What a pain in the bum!

    Life is never simple.

If they paid you by cash on collection they are not covered by Paypal's buyer protection so you are not forced to refund if the item was OK when it left you

got to be honest I hate ebay for that - you never know whether someone is pulling a fast one.

would you pull out if you could have the waterfall house - very tricky indeed, what if they say you can have 35K off? Decisions decisions

No Cath/ SE, not really. We've gone the sensible route. We don't want to be tied down to a mortgage forever and it needed a lot of work doing to it anyway. Are you staying where you are now Cath ? We're doing the extension in about 6 months, there's an existing one in place already and we want to build on top. That's like your property isn't it?

No Mummy they went against what I wrote in BIG letters all over the listing and paid by p/pal. *tuts* Sometimes I think it's really not worth doing ebay but I've made quite a bit there recently. I just hate dishonest people with a passion. I'm happy with what I got for it even after the refund so I have to let it go now or it will wind me up for ages afterwards.

I don't know what my brother is doing..I'm still waiting. May need to give him a nudge..facebook is the first port of call. *rolls eyes again for the 3rd time today*

    Grateful I will ;) - Thanks

Misscousiniit No he's male so obviously a cleaning job 2 months down the line isn't that important to him! lol

I bring good news..for me , not you..VERY good news. No I'm not pregnant :D.. but we have been offered the opportunity to lend as much money as we want for the extension :j:j:j:j. Aren't we lucky! The terms are that we have the payment term for as long as we want and we pay back equal to what it would earn in an ISA...and that's all I know at the moment. Either way it will save us ££££'s in interest as we was going to put it on the mortgage. I don't know how we will work out the interest bit but I suppose we can discuss that more..
