Sorry to hear one of your lads is still causing you pain. Must be so hard to divide yourself up between them all in the first place without then having trauma. I hope you and your OH are all right.

Don't worry about not keeping up on diaries. Not a lot going off at the minute, apart from we are all working hard, and i guess the predicted nice weather over the next few days might mean less posts anyway.

Take care hon. Remember you can PM anytime if you want a chat.

Fingers crossed for DHs job for you. You are right you are due some good luck.

I've thought about you Pam recently and my life is mirroring yours in a way. I know that you have also had trouble with your DS. I'm just baffled by it if I had been a bad mother then o.k I could understand it but he's gone to live with a stranger ( you can probably guess who I mean ). The thing that hurts more than anything is all the lies and underhandedness..why? Who needs to lie about anything.

Thanks Michelle x - We'll plod on,like always. We're fine about it really its just with that and everything else that is going on too,It's all come at once and is a bit much.

    Plans for today :

I want to phone up and cancel sky today as football season is over ..at last!
I also want to book another viewing on the house as we've only been once.
The cheque has come out today for the coal searches - it all systems go!

I didn't know the weather was picking up - that IS good news

Supposedly 22-25 degrees DH saw on last nights weather report. Great - even if only for catching up on washing and making my veggies grow. ;)

Keep plodding hon. It's all any of us do. x

My dad phoned up to cancel last week and they asked if he would be wanting it back when the new season started, when he said yes they said he could keep it for just £5 a month, saving £15 a month. I think that may have just been for the sports package but they may offer you a deal even if its the whole of sky that you want to cancel.

I am sorry to hear that you are having such a bad time with your son. Hopefully, over time, the situation will improve.

Oh dear about your son, he'll come back, it's a tough age for boys. They are young adults but still have a lot of growing to do.

I've seen it before where they have gone back to the 'strangers' usually ends up in tears - but do believe they need to find out for themselves

As a dinky I can only say "well I like you Iris", as I can't really contribute a parent's perspective. Is it bad if my thought about Pammy's frame was eeebay? :o

As Michelle says we are all busy but we fly in when we can and keep each other going. You all are like an extra family to me and really helped get me through the jobless stress.

Your DH can borrow some library books on psychometrics - properly used it should help indicate personality traits that they explore at interview to see if he is well suited to the role such as preferences for or difficulties with leading people, teamwork, multitasking etc.

Key thing is to be consistent so try and complete somewhere quiet in one go.

Its so blooming hard with teenage kids and they really dont think about what they are doing to us. They only see their life and what they want to do. My lad hurts me so much after everything I have done. He lives with his grandma (his dads mum) because he knows he can do what he wants there. He doesnt really have anything to do with his dad either I am told. I am just biding my time until he grows out of it lol.
I hope your lad sorts himself out hun

They gave us free sky sports when we cancelled the sports channel last year A but with moving I don't want to be tied into a contract...or risk being. I still haven't made the call yet though - lazy of me ! Thanks though.

TBH all , I don't want him to live with us again - which sounds awful I know. Too much has gone on. Obviously more than I've said on here. He won't come back anyway , he's too stubborn and I do believe that he has gone to his fathers purely because he felt that he had no where else to go. Even though my family have all said he could go there. He wanted to go where I'd never think that he would go. It is all one big game play, which I've not been playing hence him now taking it too far.

Katsura - I feel like that too. I feel that we say things that we wouldn't normally say to others, some times we say too much ( see above lol ). The support and encouragement here is fabulous.

I've seen that you can do the psychometric tests online too which may help. It's a pretty hardcore interview stage as he has to do role playing in his interview too. He'll be good at that..he likes a bit of roleplay ! ;)

I prob say too much on here as well. How old is he Iris? I knew my lad would do what he did he just did it sooner than I expected. Is he still close by to you? I feel what you are going through and it really stinks. He probably thought you would back down but good for you not playing his games.
Hope it can be resolved, it will take time (hell I am still waiting nearly a year on!)
