Thank you for the hint re: free listing on ebay. I have some things to sell now that I know I am expecting a blue bump and after having a bargain on my bugaboo pram I have my old one to sell.

Am sorry to hear that your DH is so unhappy at work and I hope the right job comes along soon. Sometimes it is worth a drop in pay to be happier at work. However my DH has just done this and now says he wants to look for something else! He drives me insane!

    Fingers crossed.

    Glad the vicar backed down!

Good luck to your OH with the interviews...as said previously, you have to just support him through this - things will get better.

Well my OH is now off work for a while. I told him to come home last night as his managers are basically trying to stitch him up for their incompetence. Long story which I won't bore you with. Its not going to happen but he doesn't really need all this. He's never off work and is upset that he's off but tbh I'm sooooo glad he is. His eye has come out all itchy and red. It looks so sore and has this flap of skin which seems to have come out of the corner. I'm sure its stress related.

He phoned up a specialised recruitment agency about a job yesterday that he had put his CV in for and they asked him if he wanted to come and work for them. Which boosted his confidence no end!

I bought a M&P mattress yesterday for the new cotbed, reduced to £85 from £132 and I re-registered under a new email address and got a £5 giftcard towards it. Not bad at all! Plus as a "new customer" we got more cashback than normal from TCB : £4.29! We collect next week as I'm not paying the £5 delivery charge.

I've had to take some money back that I op'd but hadn't sent yet as our TCs have changed again and gone down. I expect them to rise again but until I know to what amount I'm holding onto the money especially as its my sons 18th and 14th birthdays next week and we are giving them some money. (budgeted for but its alot to come out of account at once)

We received a travel payment from Ohs work yesterday. We was expecting a fair bit but he only got £16 for 10p a mile.... unbelievable! Oh well it's better than nothing I suppose!

After reading Martins email I've paid £20 of Mr T vouchers towards my Eon G&E account, it should knock £30 off. Not that that I'm in arrears or anything as I've only been with them for 2 months but every little helps and I won't miss the vouchers as I still have a few left. E on didn't take the full months DD the first month so I'm wondering now that I'll be £30 in front if they will take the full dd monthly amount...we'll see.

I'm having a look about for cot bed sheets aren't they so expensive! I think ebay will be the cheapest option. Mr A is normally cheap for things like that too but the website hasn't got much for cot bed 140x70 size.

Hi Iris, i have two kids in cots at the minute. Instead of buying cot sheets for the second one i cut old bed sheets in half and use these instead...my aunt told me this tip and it has worked brilliantly :j.
Hope your OH is a bit more relaxed today....it must be awful to work in that kind of environment.

Hope your OH's stress settled down, it can't be good to keep going in that stressful environment.

I was browsing at cot bedding the other day and am shocked at the price especially when it's mostly for decoration. I think eBay will be my friend here!

Thanks WABL. I do that when DDs nice one is in the wash. A good tip though thanks.

Cath - Baby bedding looks really easy to make , I'm going to make some when I get time on my sewing machine. Mothercare has buy one get one half price at the mo and M&P is 3 4 2 if you're interested.

I wanted to have pink & blue for them ..it makes me happy daft I know..as I plan to have these beds for a long time and DDs turns into a daybed so she'll have it for years and years to come..hopefully the sheets will last years to come too! :)

I've been to Mr A and bought some cot bed fitted sheets 2 in a pk. £9 each or 2pks for £14. They look so nice on the cot bed I cant wait for baby blue to move into his cotbed. They're a bargain.

DD now got little pink hearts

and baby blue has little blue stars.

Cute hey...and I got a bottle of wine! I think I deserve it.

DD has a off tummy and I've had to ring the doctors to get some salts, all she wants is her bottle of milk which she can't have so now she's not a happy bunny. Poor thing.

Anyway have a good weekend all!
