Thanks Cath :) and MMFD you must post more. I've missed you! :)

Good news : Ebay item is now over £70 I paid £75 originally 8 years ago. I'm thrilled! I knew it would go for a fair bit but less than £70. :j

Thanks Froggy. Me too. The hot tub is calling me already. I just hope its warm when we get there as it takes ages to warm up.

My ebay item sold for £73 which is fab.:j I was hoping that they would pay straight away (they haven't) so I'm either now going to have to leave my password with someone and trust them to send it or buy internet connection for £12 when we get there which will come out of my pocket. I'm not sure what I'm doing with the money yet , maybe half to mortgage and the other to the new car seat fund for Baby Blue as he's outgrowing his current one. I'll work out my profit and see when I know for sure what the postal costs are.

I've put a new picture of Baby Blue on FB and he looks so grown up on it. He's 7 months now and not suppose to be in the new car seat until 9 months but I think he'll only get another month out of it.

Right back to bed me thinks..I only got up as I realised that I had left the battery in the clock I've just sold.. I'm not that tight that I'd take it out ! :) but I realised that it won't do it any good being in there as it's a calendar clock and it would just be turning over and over every 12 hours and it won't do it any good in transit. So I had to cut it all open and wrap it back up. *Rolls eyes* I am so blonde :)

Edit I didn't know you get free wi fi at mac dees so I think we'll save the £12 and visit there

    Well I'm back !

We had a lovely holiday in Cornwall and I had a lovely birthday with a meal out at pizza express (with tesco vouchers) .

We kept to budget. We had £280.00 to spend and I spent £290.10 which was mainly on fuel (using a 5p off per litre voucher ) and also included some hooks for on the wall which I bought for my house at £15 so not bad at all!

£5.48 from TCB has cleared whilst I was away which I've also OP.:j

I made £63.43 profit on my ebay item which I've sent across to the mortgage, I think I've op'd £265.48 so far for May now but I need to check that.

We got free 20 minute internet connection at the lodge so I could tell that the buyer had paid o.k so we didn't have to visit Mc Dees after all.

I'm back now to a load of washing and a rainy day!

Nice to hear you had a good time, but nice to see you back. Petrol sure does eat into the holiday budget. It will for us when we go away in August to Kent.

Sounds like you had a lovely break boo to all the washing that so must be the worst part.
Well done for staying in budget we manage well but it is always the fuel which seems to tip us over. x
