Sounds like today was a hard one for you hon. Kids are definitely sent to try us at every stage. It must be so hard having them at different stages.

I think you are being very sensible acting as you are. Supportive but not too clingy and pushing him away further. He will turn out how he wants now, and you have put your best effort into helping him choose the right path so you have to have faith in him and your own ability in parenting him.

I'll send you a PM about FB. ;)

    Morning !

Thanks Babyb. Yes number 7 will have to be after the wedding as I have a shed load of weight to lose for it plus it'll be my 40th and you have to stop having children at some time. We may change our mind then but we'll see.

The trafford centre was a success! We spent £8 on 2 magazines , one for OH and one a gardening one for me which gets 2 4 1 entry to the Eden Project for when we are in Cornwall. saving about £18 less the magazine price. Thanks Martin! :money:

OH couldn't find anything he wanted , well he did a £3,999 painting for the wall... We want to have a nice piece of art but I'm not going to spend that much , even if its a one off and totally gorgeous. OH is so glad that I suggest we sleep on it. It really did make him think about money though and he said that he didn't need a pair of trainers after all.

You think if I befriend the artist on FB that he'd paint one for me? :D Apparently he paints with screwdrivers - amazing. I struggle with a brush never mind a screwdriver :rotfl:

He doesn't have anything though so I do let him have what he wants ( not the painting though!)

T Credits have paid more money into the account today which is another large amount but will probably work out right by next Friday.I wish they sent the paperwork out straightaway as I like to know what's going in. I hate surprises!

Thanks Michelle for your words. I've replied :D

    No mouse today!:j

My items on Ebay now has 79 watchers and the bid amount is £36. It should go higher though. :j

My item item has now gone over £50, still a few days to go too :j

I've just completed a £3 PC survey and put that towards the mortgage.:j

Forgot to say that OH didn't get the job he went for , he was sent a very strange letter about it. Whether its to do with an incident in his office and someone being suspended , and another person leaving I don't know as now it leaves only 2 manager out of 4 , if OH left they'd be only one. he wasn't bothered anyway as I think he wants to get out of this company altogether.

Thank you for your welcome on my new diary.:D

I am officially de-lurking now and want to congratulate you on your wedding plans and also on the way you are handling the problems with your son. It must be very stressful and difficult for you but you seem to be handling it in a very sensible and level headed manner. Hope it all works out, I am sure it will.

Well done on the e-bay bids. I def need to get my finger out!

7 children :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:!!!!!!! 7 kittens I would love to have but 7 children:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:!!!!!!! As they say, it wouldn't do for us all to be the same:D. I love spending time with my niece and nephew but I don't have enough patience to cope full time with 1 child let alone 7.

Sorry your husband didn't get the job. Am I right in thinking that it was a job in the company that he is already working for? Maybe for the best if he is not happy there. Hope something better comes up soon for him.

    A
    xx

I'm really glad you've "delurked". I do remember you from our funky pigeon chat. :) It's strange thinking that people read and don't say anything, even if I use to do it myself.

It's strange as I think its a small community we have here but in fact it's a large one with many silent ones. :) Hello lurkers. You know me a lot more than I know you. :(:D

Thank you for your congratulaions. I can't wait until we come back from holiday and go and see the venue inside. We've puilled up in the carpark but its just not the same! :rotfl:

I have children to occupy my time , ( only 6 atm though! ) you have a horse! That's impressive. I think they're beautiful creatures. :)

    Hi IB,

Just dropping by to say hello

I'm so glad that I stopped being a lurker as well, and started joining in! But everybody is quite right when they tell of the addictive properties of the forum :o

I think you are amazing doing all that you do, AND having 6 bambinos too. I 'only' have 3 - so I take my hat off to you :D

Carry on the fabulous, inspirational work!

    AM :)

 Auntie Mabel , thank you for stopping by. I do like it when people post. Thanks for the support.

I was bored and just paid £140 into the mortgage. Opps how that happen  I was sat there staring at the spreadsheet and seeing how much I would need to take me down to the next penny. Sad hey! A least now I save a penny a day next month.

I really should be doing surveys instead of looking at figures!

How absolutely wonderful a wedding on your 40th, what a fabulous choice of date:)

You are brave going for number seven. I don't think you have to stop having kids at forty, round here the average age to start is over 35.

I'm trying to get 2 stone off before trying again - I'm 3 stone heavier than before I had DD1 and it's not baby weight, it's chocolate muffins, cream buns, cheese etc:rotfl:
    OPs so far £42,139
Original end date Nov 2037 (53) Current end date June 2024 (40) Aiming for 5 years to be Mf
    DD1 Oct 2008:), DD2 Jul 2010:), DD3 Aug 2013:)
When life is getting me down I try to remember to thank God for the blessings

I agree 40 and over is perfectly acceptable for having babies but I had my first when I had just turned 20 and 20 years plus of having babies will be enough for anyone I think! I've done more than my fair share.

I thought you had decided to sell your baby clothes for a few years..you still changing your mind? I love the thought of a little cute baby but I love the age that DS5 is at now, 7 months and so happy and saying mama. Love it!

    Holiday tomorrow!

Did I mention I'm away on holiday tomorrow? :D We cannot wait. I have loads to do today, sorting things and making sure we have enough things in the house for my mum and dad who's looking after 3 of the children for us. My absent son has passed a message on to say he will be here in a few days , that was Friday , so I expect him to come and test the water when we are away. I wonder if he'll remember my birthday. and get a card. It's one way to break the ice anyway.
