I've signed onto OHs H/F bank account today and thought that I'd got onto someone elses details as a few accounts were showing on there which aren't normally on. It looks like the H/F has added all our peoples accounts to online banking whereas before you had to add them yourselves.

His ISA has been added and was showing ..£28.73 :jwhich was a lovely surprise so I promptly transferred it into our account. He's not touched it since we met..I wonder why.:D

I forgot it was my fathers birthday at the end of May and he's over here with my Mum next week to watch the children whilst we are away. I've ordered him a card from Funky pigeon with my free £3 credit which was on the account and got it posted to me so they can take it back with them when they go back. Saving £3.

I've got a clock listed on ebay with 64 watches and 4 days to go ! I hope its not one of these that everyone watches and doesn't bid on. I expect it to go for about £60 ish. I love it but it won't look right in the new house. Fingers crossed I have a bid frenzy.

You sound like you need that holiday - fair play to you for stocking up with wine ;-)

Good luck with the ebay bids - haven't got a clue about ebay at the moment, but I'm sure DH is going to expect me to know what to do when he sorts out loads off stuff to sell on there.

Got my fingers crossed for you x

Opps I've just opened it. - Couldn't resist and it is gorgeous! It's a box of Turner Road Rose. Mmm. It's been shouting at me from the dining room.

Thanks Misscousinit I don't mind ebay itself its the daft people that ask silly questions and then don't bid and I'm always frightened of getting bad feedback..I don't know why .. I just am!

I'm now up and running and totally get facebook if any of my little mortgage free friends wanna join in with me on there? Don't go searching for me as I'll let you into a secret ... I'm not really called Iris or Mrs Blue so you won't find me that way.:D

I'd love to see some of you though :)

    What a morning!

I've spent all morning tidying up after my oldest son spotted a mouse in the lounge  and decided to chase it round and then trap it inside. You can imagine the mess. I feel quite sick with it all and especially when the babies were playing on the floor and it decided to peek out from under the settee! One trip to B&Q later and the mouse is now double bagged.

Its my sons birthday today, the one that has been missing for about 5/6 weeks. I've texted him this morning but I know his phone is prementantly off anyway but that's all I can do. His older brother has just told me that he's been in touch with him last night and given him a new number, probably because its his birthday. I think he's planning on coming back when we are away. He was asking what its like at home without him. Older son said "I'm indifferent to you not being here" :rotfl: That's brothers for you. Kind words when you need them ..not.

Anyway DS1 has texted DS2 to say happy birthday today and DS2 has asked him to give me his number. . . so we'll see how it goes. It's one big game play since he's been gone , all attention seeking. I'm glad I've not been taking part in it all and its been really hard not to give him attention I think its been the best thing I could do.

(Sorry I know its not money saving and is totally of topic but it helps to write it down sometimes )

It's really hard being a parent sometimes, I do wonder at times just how my Mum coped with me.

Brodiebobs me too! If only we knew hey. I know being a teenager is a horrible time but I feel like mine has got more immature the older he's got.

It's hard Froggy. I know that myself deep down ,I just don't know why I'm being punished in this way. I've texted him on the new number ( I waited for an hour after I got it ) and I told him Happy birthday and that I love him and he can come home for his card anytime and he texted back "Thank you and O.k". So it's going to be a slow and long road I think.

Oh well at least I have the Trafford Centre to cheer me up later!

We are soooo not going near the food court. I've just bought a £10 Tesco finest meal deal so he will have to stay away now!

I need to go back myself. I bought a dress from Next and overnight after washing its shrunk. I haven't put that much weight on overnight I'm sure. I wanted it for holiday too, Hope they have another in!

Sorry to hear things with one DS aren't going too well - but (whilst I have no knowledge) my parents always say kids are meant to try us. My sister 'ran away' at 16 - she didin't go far and now she is a parent says she realises how stupid she was. She now realises our parents behaviour was to protect her and look after her, but at the time she thought they were 'hemming her in' and she wanted to be a grown up. Love that you have found facebook - perfect way to keep in touch with them (even if they hate it!)

I cannot believe you have number 7 in the planning (will you wait till after the wedding???!!!) but the comment that twins are more liklely as a mother gets older - wow! A mother of more than 2 must be a saint in my eyes - you really have your hands full! I am not sure I have those mother jeans!

Did you make it to the Trafford Centre? I love and hate that place at the same time - hate shopping (even though I am a girl), love that I will eventually find the outfit once i have traipsed up and down its hallowed halls
