We still don't know Cath as we are still at the searches stage. They had 3 days to clean though knowing we was going so no excuse really.
A big boo from me Mr G! .and.. merci!I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
I personally would clean, but not everyone has the high standards we do. I was glad when we moved in here it was spotless, but when the ILs bought the seaside house we go to we went with them that day, and it was quite grim and took hours to clean. My mum said she had moved into mucky houses too, where stuff like the inside of the kitchen cupboards were dirty so you had to clean it before you could put your stuff in. I guess some people just don't care.0

No they don't especially when they've been knocked down in price so much. It was very clean the first viewing. Hopefully they'll do it. Mum said to get my brothers cleaner in for 2 hours but I think it'll be a bit busy the day we move in and she'll get in the way. It the inside of cupboards and that that I mean. Not that i looked in them all. There were cobwebs all over the walls and dust piles all over the wood floor where they had swept but hadn't cleared the it.
It's sunny here today . 2 loads of washing done now so lets hope it stays that way!I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
I've finally got round to changing my name on paypal, its only taken me 2 years but in my defence they ask you to upload the proof or fax so I've never bothered. I've sold something on ebay and now the buyer (who collected ) says it is damaged and wants a partial refund. What a pain in the bum!

I've now asked my brother what his cleaner charges an hour. I'm waiting for a text back. I'm thinking if can't be more than £15 ..but we'll see.I think we need to cut back on all this stress and if i have to pay £45 for 3 hours work then it's worth it.
Does anyone know the going rate ? I want her to do the utility room (this is another kitchen really) and main kitchen - wiping out all the inside of the cupboards and a general clean, bathroom and downstairs toilet . I think 3 hours should more than cover it - does that sound right?
I've refunded my ebay buyer £13 but I feel that she is pulling a fast one on me. She said that her mum has paid too much for it. It's an auction..you bid what you feel that is what an auction is!! I'm happy with the £13 and to make live easier it's worth it.
I've just been out for some bread and "saved" an elderly man stranded on his motorised scooter in Mr M's. His scooter siren was blaring out whilst I went all the way around M's and at the freezer section I discovered him sat there unable to do anything. No one helped, people just walked past and looked at him. I know he didn't ask for help but some people don't. At least I did my good samaritan bit.I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
How much have I posted today..!
Just had an email to ask me if I still want my dream house by the waterfall and how much I'd be willing to pay for it. Interesting. He knows that we are buying a different property so I've been brutally honest and told him what I think it's worth ..about 35k less than what he wants for it. I wait to see his response.I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
Hi, iris the going rate is £10 PH here in essex for cleaning if that helps, but a lot more if you go through a company.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0
