i've just managed to get tickets online. I was trying for about 1 hour. I found googlechrome timed out less. I managed to get 21st december and there still seems to be loads of availability left. So now i have cheap travelodge room and grotto tickets

YES!!! Ive been trying for 4 and half hours and no luck i just asked my sister to try as we are going together and she booked 1st time!!

Managed to get through on the phone. BUT there is now an automated message on the phone telling me that due to unprecedented demand they will not forward the call to the grotto and to try the website later.


ARGH! I WANNA BRICK WALL.

I have eventually booked on the internet for 5th Dec @ 1730. Make sure you don't have more than one browser/window open trying to book the same thing, I just closed all of mine apart from one and eventually booked without any problems.

After 3.5 hours I have got some tickets. It seems to have eased up now and after being thrown out of the system again for the umpteenth time, the last try was quick and painless.

on-line now working brilliantly! I already have my tickets, but just tried to see how it was and it was really quick and could have booked in less than a minute!

Have just got 5 tickets, this time with no waiting and the whole order went through straight away, maybe alot of people have given up trying so worth giving it a go.

Followed lead of all phone bookers and it worked exactly the same for me. Engaged tone for over an hour, it rang out 5 times and finally got through to operater who transfered me to the booking hotline, waited on hold for 30mins and got my first choice date of last sunday before christmas 19th december at 1pm. :j:j:j

We tryed for hours over three days last year and didn't get any so went to selfridges which was more suited to pre school kids. mine are 3, 6and 12yrs. Good luck everyone.
