  • I have to admit, we did both Selfrides and Harrods last year, and Selfridges was awful, so disorganised,
The train was just a small circle that did about five or six circuits, and then we were herded and rushed through the Santa bit like we were cattle. As for the Santas outfit, it looked like it was from the poundshop.
I certainly wouldn't waste my money on them again

Thanks for the heads up. How comes you went to two santas anyway? that must've been confusing for your children.

If people only booked one maybe they'd be spaces for everyone!

    Not having a go!!

Just to add a different point of view..........
I have to admit that i have never been to the Harrods one, however for the last 2 years we have gone to the Selfridges one and have been really impressed :)

My Son's are only 2 and 4 though, but it had a very magical feel about it all, the staff dressed as elfs etc were great with the children and they loved the little train ride. The Santa we got was very good and probably the most authentic one i have ever seen, so we will trying to get tickets to the Selfridges one again this year x

Thank you for that, i will definitely try Selfridges if i have no luck with Harrords. My niece is only 3 so to be honest, so just seeing santa will be special enough for her. Plus, in London she can see all the Christmas lights too.

I didn't realise that my Husband had booked the Selfridges tickets, and he...being the owner of a head like a sieve forgot I'd got the Harrods ones.

We told DD that the Harrods Santa was the real deal, and the Selfridges one, and all the other Santas are his "helper friend", as she sees Santas all over the place.

  • for those who have been lucky enough to get through and book tickets, (by phone), when does the email arrive with the link for tickets (if this is what happens) xx

I haven't got my email yet, but as the site is crashing, I'm not too worried just yet. I have the booking ID should I need to query it, and she said the e-tickets will be a few weeks yet.
