Picture 6 sold this one to me

...and its on a nasty rough estate hence the AP, although it strangely appears to have risen in price recently! Maybe 18 months on the market isn't enough for the vendor.
A true optimist! Perhaps operating on the face cream principle?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Ex council house in the centre of town with great transport links to anywhere. That house will sell quickly as a rental.
I know the area and its a bit of a dump around the Caledonian Road side but a bunch of Aussies would rent it.
Doubt it. This one is practically next door, a little bit bigger (still ugly) and tens of thousands cheaper, even with Foxtons selling it:

That is a wing of a cell block at a prison, surely?...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Sorry is it a house or a van for sale? Check out the street view, I'm practically crying with laughter!
If you search for Jaywick Clacton-on-Sea you'll find some gems, I could list at least 10 we could have a good laugh at.
I think I would actually feel some sympathy for EAs working in Jaywick0 -
Blimey. Soweto looks nicer than Jaywick Streetview!

Its well presented, apparently. So much so they have parked a van in the foreground of the only photo :rotfl:0 -
Don't expect to get a better picture in the brochure -

If you want something dfecent in London you have to pay, A LOT!
I have to hope that none of the sellers of the houses posted on this thread are reading it. Yes some are really unattractive, but if those are the best homes some people can hope to get then they will be beautiful to them.
I just hope that the poor souls still tied up in the never ending balancing act that living in the south east is, don't all catch on at the same time that you can have a much better standard of living in other parts of the country. Getting it will probably mean taking jobs off the locals and pushing property pices up to levels locals cannot afford but !!!!!!.
As you have probably guessed I think this thread is cruel and heartless. I also think that some architects should be put up against a wall and shot.My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

All those 3 are the other side of the Caledonian Road - BIG difference, honest....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
