Number 12 is, of course, the delightfully well appointed storage space in the eaves, a real feature of this property.0 -
It's probably a good time to remind people that there are a few interesting and attractive houses on the market still, with clean/tidy rooms, at "not bad" prices.

Oh that is lovely, tiny, but lovely.
If we are switching to lovely, pretty places, THIS one, a Duke of Bedford estate cottage in Bedfordshire, really caught my eye. What beautiful architecture at an affordable price. My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

That floorplan can't be right.
On the outside picture the front door is at the extreme left hand side of the front. IN the floorplan, the front door is inset so it isn't right at the corner of the property.
Narrowing it so that it is in line with the staircase (assuming the floorplan has got that right) would be easier than you think.

Curiously enough, if you look at the houses next door in street view, they are the same design and look okay. They have the wooden boarding in a contrasting colour and a more sensible front door. It really doesn't seem to take that much to ruin the look of a house - in this case, painting the cladding white and the bottom part beige, whilst putting in an absolutely ghastly front door.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

And they're still building them ugly!0 -
I laughed when I found this property. It's not as hideous as some of those posted but it does look like someone has taken a bland bungalow and made it ugly by tacking a sun lounge on the front of it

It looks like a small face with an overly large nose to me0 -
Well if we're opening up the category of over-extended bungalows:

At least I think it is. It's hard to tell.Been away for a while.0
