I remember an ea produced a photo of the front of my first house, there was a dustbin bag lying outside.Iwasnt expecting themto take the photo that day.Could they not have moved it.Another house of my OHs,they took a picture of the shower room/toilet with a lovely close up of a bottle of bleach and the loo brush. And they call themselves photographers. If you don't leap, you'll never know what it is to fly :heartpuls0

Well, actually, they call themselves estate agents. I am sure that it would be worthwhile for sellers to hire in their own photographer for say £100 - business idea there for someone! No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

The house we bought in 1993/4 was not very pretty, but it wasn't half as ugly as the way it looked in the EA's photos. I am sure that put off other buyers and we got a bit of a bargain. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Like having a pleasent looking neighbourhood, I would much rather look at houses that are visually appealing.Yep, but how much extra would you pay for that? 10%, 20%, 50%?
Whatever I thought it was worth.

And I used to think that my first house, a 3 bed Victorian semi in Slough used to look horrible... but now I have fonder memories after looking at that concoction0 -
I love the way they're described as 'villas', conjures up romantic visions of luxury beachside houses :rotfl:0
