CAB are clueless when it comes to 'fines' made by private Parking Contractors. It appears that like Mobilise, they prefer to take the word of the BPA rather than do their homework.

Iggipop, please stop worrying. UKCPS are a bunch of low lifes who prey on disabled people. You will not be going to court because they do not have a chance of winning and they know it.

If you look at the info that came with your blue badge, or this government website, you will see that the blue badge scheme does not even apply in private car parks.

CAB are known to be useless with private parking tickets, you will get much better advice here.

Just ignore all correspondence from UKPC, their "debt collectors" and "solicitors", it is all a scam and they will eventually go away.

If you receive anything that worries you, post back here for advice.

It makes my blood boil when I read posts like the one by Iggipop. Disabled people have enough to put up with without being harrassed for non existent debts by pond dwellers.

Hi just a quick note - UKCPS have said they are no longer going to 'communicate' with my father - disabled and 78 - but will now take 'legal action' :rotfl::rotfl:

I can't wait for the letters to arrive from COURT SERVICES LIMITED :rotfl:

Take a look at Daily Mail today - page 22. The article is entitled Half of all blue badge holders 'aren't disabled'

The story goes on and on......

There is a contibution from Helen Dolphin of Mobilise and she says ..

'The situation has spiralled out of control and we need urgent action to tackle the abuse. It is a crime and needs to be taken seriously. It's disgraceful that people with genuine mobility problems cannot get a parking space because people are abusing the system......:rotfl::rotfl:

Now good people - shall we all e-mail the journalist at the Daily Mail and tell them what this lady of 'virtue' does to keep her charity afloat ie threaten and victimise the disabled ?

The journalists name is Rebecca Canber..

Doesn't that mean the system in place does not work then? Really if its that high it should be replaced with something that does actually work!

Probably one the reasons why people cannot get places is the fact that half of the people parking there should not be holding a blue badge in the first place, hasn't the dolphin woman heard of busy car parks before?

The real crime is the non disabled people holding a badge in the first place, but the largest crime is obviously the scammers scamming disabled people, fully endorsed by dolphin!
