Thank you so much for this OP!!! I am already a member of Audible (got money off towards an Ipod, I am a recent convert to ipods and totally OTT about them now!) Was going to buy the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo but held off because of the price, so absolutely delighted!!!

The links past todays download aren't working for me - when i click yesman link its just coming up with a blank audible page.. .. perhaps they have cottoned on that people are ahead of the game..

None of them seem to be working for me either - the links just take me to a blank guardian promotions page but I can't see anywhere to click to download the boods.... Am I doing something wrong?

They were all working last night, but Yes Man and Rapid French are now taking me to a blank page. I guess that they are making you wait until the day now.

This has got to be one of the best freebies - for me anyway Downloaded all to date so far, not tried them but all showing up in my audible list - am a member already as for me audiobooks are sanity as spend a lot of time in bed in pain not able to do anything else. So a very big thank you for finding this, I had not bought any of these books so far.

I've worked it out now.

You need to download and install Audible Manager before you can download the books.

I get to the point of pushing the download button. Then, instead of getting the book, all that downloads is something called aw_helper that opens in Wordpad. Presumably it is a program that is supposed to start and actually do the download, but I don't know how to run it. This is happening in Firefox. I tried in Internet Explore but got to a page that asked for my credit card number.

Could some kind soul please contact Audible about this problem? I am in Africa so I can't just call them, and these downloads would make a lot of difference to me.
