.....I found it hard to get into the way this works but after 90 mins.:mad: I sussed it (not very adept with computers yet !) but got them down fine after all the to & fro. The Audible site seems very slow to move around on. Thanks to all the posts , which helped me a great deal , tho I'm not sure I could take in the books whilst driving:eek: (I'm always nipping back in the books when I read, so incar would be a nightmare for me ! )...so... thanks again to ALL posts....coffee an some Dragon Tattoo's for the next couple of hours................:money::T

You should be able to get them for seven days so it shouldn't be too late. I grabbed the first few yesterday. I haven't actually downloaded them yet, but once you've completed the 'checkout' they're in your Audible library, and available to download as many times as you want, forever! I found a couple of books in there that I'd purchased in 2008 and forgotten about!

Thanks for the link for the rapid french download - done and working fine for me, will pass it onto granddaughter to help her with her french, she has just started high school and its one of her subjects, and lucky girl she has an iplayer so can use that - poor old grandma has to use the player on pc lol

That's good to hear that they can stay in your library as of yet I can't get to download any of them but have managed to get all into 'My Library' on Audible.co.uk
I want to download to PC and then hopefully rip to CD and reformat to MP3 (someone above said that could be done),as frustratingly none of their device compatibility fits with my phone or MP3 or sat nav!, but once in Mp3 format I can play it on either.
So far I have done as it asks and downloaded and run set up for Audible manager and itunes, but it still just jamms when trying to download and the audible pop-up window says downloading 0%... and just stays like it.
