When trying to install the Audible software, there are too many options and none for general MP3 or multi-use and nono for a mobile for any samsung device either!!
PC won't install Audible software and comes up with error message The cabinet file 'C:\........\AM_Install.cab' cannot be found. No idea what this is.
Then for the PC version it want itunes and Audible downloading! and setting up. I Hate itunes! It made such a mess of my MP3 Archive I deleted it last year.
So I don't think I'm going to be able to use this site.

I can't use any of the downloads on my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic or my MP3 player because they are not supported by Audible's crippling DRM/Digital Restrictions Management. Yet you can get around this, apparently, by simply burning them to CD and re-ripping them as standard non-crippled MP3 (or any other format you like) files that will then work on any player you wish to use.

Yet another case of annoying, blocking and/or making things more difficult for your genuine customers with DRM while at the same time not adding any real security against people sharing files.

If that works then that's great! Thanks! As none of their supported devices are compatible with my phone or GPS or MP3!!! How ridiculously frustrating with the stupid security encryption being so device specific.
I'm starting to remember why I never used this service before!
I'll have to try again at home later. Shouldn't really be doing this at work anyway! LOL

I'm confused by this website. First of all it asked me for payment details at £3.99 a month so I clicked away and when I came back I was registered.

Do I have to download some software in order to get the book? I tried to download it once and got a small file (aw_dhelper.pl) which is clearly not an audio file and am unsure how to get the proper audio book onto my kindle.

I could download only 3 books and then for other titles it will take me to membership page.

Is there any restriction on number of books one can download?
