I have a Sony Walkman MP3 player (as in http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-NWS202-512mb-Walkman-Player/dp/B000IMB4IM).
Being a bit of a dinosaur about these things, can someone please tell me if I could download an audiobook to this please?
Many thanks!
You can check for compatible devices here:

I can't see any Sony ones listed, but I suggest you phone their very helpful freephone number to ask:

Downloaded all of them thanks OP, is anyone else having trouble transfering them from itunes to there ipod? I keep getting error 69?0

Brilliant thanks - I used Google Chrome instead and it worked. It hadn't previously worked when I logged out of Audible and stayed with Explorer - even if I cleared cookies, but this little trick worked.
I have now updated original post to alert others to this problem. Hopefully Audible will fix it tomorrow anyway as they are going to have a very full email in-box on Monday!
I think they must have fixed this as I haven't had any problems downloading the Iain Banks book today after downloading Saturday's book using IE. I did have problems with the initial download using firefox though. Their customer service lady was fab & sorted out my problem really quicky. Loving these offers...& as for some happy ending I'd rather stay single & thin

Today's book is Kristina Stephenson's Sir Charlie Stinky Socks and the Really Big Adventure.
(only 48 minutes this time - so a quickie compared to yesterday)

how much memory does this take up on your mobile? ive got a nokia 16gb x6A happy wife, and mum to 2 lovely little boys :j0

It will work on your pc using iTunes as long as you give it access to your audible account. If you want to play it on something else you will need to convert it to an mp3 rather than AA file.0

or you may be able to use the audible manager to set the media specifically for your player. Seperate download. Just trying it now for my Sansa fuze0

you can use goldwave to do it. I have read somewhere that some sony players do not work with aa files. The Fuze does but I use rockbox on my Fuze and that does not.0
