Has anything been heard from Carmen?

I'm surprised Max thingy hasn't signed her up.

She's probably too blinking scared to go out. You know you see this bullying stuff going on on FB and YT but you never expect to see it on mainstream telly.

Disgusting - shame on you. Good Morning TV - I think not, the feel-good factor has well and truly turned sour for me.

  • Carmen has consistently kept her head down, and I feel that the tide of sympathy may well be turning her way as a result.

Yes I agree, a dignified silence and if I can make a comment without trying to patronise or anything, she 'appeared' to 'sound' more 'educated' (if that's the right word to use) than the landlady.

She did really well to keep her composure, I would have been a right fishwife had I been in her shoes, but no - she stuck to the facts and kept calm.

I hope that one day we will hear from her.

I think that's what has upset people. If she'd been upfront, and left the hystrionics and self rightiousness to one side, I's have far more sympathy.
    I don't think she's like that, I think she's a drama queen.

If I was Carmen I would be keeping my trap well and truly closed and taking good quality legal advice.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
  • I do hope that GMTV are going to provide security for the Suzy house whilst she is in London as the real Brighton squatters may have picked up this story.

Its quite late in the day now. I suppose we shall have to wait till tomorrows video release rather than the statement that was promised for today
Who are they making this video release for, who cares ?

Most of traffic to their page was probably from MSE, otherwise they'd just have people floating in as long as they managed to keep it in media until it blows over.

The media have had numerous complaints so won't do that again, I hope.

Ah you see RA I once squatted for 18 months and I put the 'appropriate' notice on the door as soon as I moved in and there was nothing the supposed 'legal owner' could do without getting a court order.

But then that is a past chapter in my life *rolls eyes*

    i'm now a respectable home-owner - yeah rite!

Well, the clues are there for them, if they look.

On Wednesday, to much fanfare, they opened a "discussion" asking for people who had similar experiences. To date, 6 replies, 2 of which were deleted.

The following day, a member opened a discussion suggesting name changes for the group. That got 8 replies!

So, with national TV and press coverage, they could only find 2 people with anything to say, and one of them was saying "just follow the current proceedure and don't illegally evict".

I think she may have read your mind. At least I hope so. Sadly, I think she will just keep her head down and not bother with legal action.
