Butti - Good news on the house - was that what you were expecting price wise? What are you going to do with all the stuff in the garage?

    .

I don't know what I was expecting but I'm expecting to pay £360/70 rent in Newcastle. Have to sort belongings into 3 piles - things to be left in a 'furnished house', things to go with me and a small amount into storage - dinner plates, books, tools, that sort of thing. Have to check rates out.

oooooooh, equal best things for me I think today......couldn't decide between them....

a text conversation about Space Dust (amongst other things!) that made me giggle and really helped me get through the morning at work

    and

having the official 'job' meeting to decide about the way forward for replacing me/when I can start new job. It has been kept quiet until now and an email was sent out to say I had got it. Nice for people to say congratulations. Should be able to start 6 September all being well. Just a pain that stressy morning manager is on leave for 2 weeks. It's been decided what will happen and it's going to be 'presented' to her on her return. She gets a very quick (if cheap!) replacement for me to tide them over but to be honest they can do what they like.

I've already been asked if I'll be doing 'leaving' cakes even though all I'm doing is going up to my loft office all day rather than being downstairs in the morning and in the loft in the afternoon!!!!
