    Thanks girls.

Lou, I wish you lived closer too, not just to show me how to ebay ;)

Ames, thats so kind of you but I'm pretty sure I could do it if I set my mind to it. As Lou says, DD and DS would get involved (i bet they already know more than me now)

I'll sort out what jewellery I have left, and maybe go sell that tomorrow. Just looking at Martins email that came this morning. It mentions Weebuy, but it seems to have security issues and my puter wont let me look.

If I get desperate, theres a shop locally that sells stuff on ebay on your behalf and takes a percentage. I could try that.

Best thing, mm, probably finding out I had the date wrong for registration at the college before I went up there.

I've just had a call from the DCA that 'doesn't deal in writing', which is so frustrating as I want to deal with it, but I'm not doing it over the phone. And as I don't have an address or reference number there's nothing I can do about it.

Ames, well that's their own fault if they don't want you to go by letter....they want to do it by phone to harass you more than likely

Oh Jo I love jam! Well done.....are we allowed to see your blog? :D

Butti - Good news on the house - was that what you were expecting price wise? What are you going to do with all the stuff in the garage?

Ok best thing today....huge bag of free stock bones from the butcher, they're roasting away in the oven and smell ruddy gorgeous. Oh and 2 free samples of Morgans spiced rum with cola.....I shall look forward to that later.

Sal and Buns - parcels have been posted so should be with you in a couple of days.

Best thing to happen to me today.......been to see my Granda:smileyhea

I have brought a huge pile of washing home from his house, the towell in his bathroom was rotten and I have noticed that everytime I go there which is at least twice a week at the moment he is wearing the same clothing, which looks dirty:(

I had a good look in his wardrobe and showed him some clean clothes that he could wear while I am washing these ones, sadly he said that he didnt care anymore:(

Another very delicate matter...........I dont think he is getting bathed at all, he is still mobile enough to get in and out of the bath I am certain but he has some sort of competition with himself about using as little gas and electricity as possible, he is in credit for £100s for both yet his house is always freezing with no hot water.

He used to be as tough as old boots but he is looking so frail lately, going into a home would finish him off I think too.

    He is such a worry.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

I still have quite a bit of stuff, just not too sure if some of it is gold or not. I was going to take it to a local jeweller to find out :o

Ohh just noticed they buy sovereigns for £176. I've got one of them in a mount with a chain ;)

Spud have a look on facebook in your area, someone round here set up a "for sale" group and you can post photos on there and a price and people email you.....I've sold loads on my local one over the past 2 weeks so worth a look.

I was looking at one recently, a few miles away. An old school friend suggested it to me. Trouble is, I dont live in their area now, so not sure if I can use it. Our local one doesnt seem half as good
