I'll have a look at it later. I always look at my stuff and assume no one would want to buy it
I think I'll take it tomorrow. It was my 18th present from my mum but I'd get far more use and pleasure out of being able to take the kids away than wearing a necklace.
Lou, it must be such a worry for you hun :grouphug:
:grouphug:for you too
If I think about it too much Spud I cant sleep, when I was on Holiday I had really bad nightmares about him being really ill and though it was odd that Mum was never home when I rang up so I had convinced myself that something had happened to Granda and they were avoiding me (this happened before when my friend died while we were on Holiday so they didnt tell me until the day I was coming home)
I know that at 86 our years/weeks/days are coming to an end but I will be completely devistated when the day comes.
Whenever I walk up to his house I get a fear that comes over me thinking that this might be the day that I find him needing an ambulance or worse:oBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Really sorry to hear that Tenmah, they're tightening up so much lately it's ridiculous.
I've just ordered a pizza, a seafood deluxe with mackerel (sorry Claire!) and anchovies, yum. I know it's naughty but I've double checked the budget and have spare, and it's a short month this month due to the bank holiday. Going to curl up with a couple of books tonight.... after trashy soaps.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Honest spud, one mans tat is another mans treasure...it never suprises me what you can sell!
Lou, Hugs for your granda and for youMy nan is a bit like that now but she is oblivious
DH has boxes and boxes of unopened Warhammer figures from pre LBM. Now these things cost a blimmin fortune, I'm talking £25 for a very small box and he's got loads. I'm not sure where would be the best place to flog them
I have to say thank you so much to BB for reminding me about renewing the house insurance. I just saved a grand total of £202.13 by simply cancelling the policy and taking out a new one with the same company. Unbelieveable !!!!!!Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Spud, ebay. I've got a friend who has a business selling warhammer/GW figures on ebay and she does quite well. Enough to pay for her holidays/weekends away/gigs which she does a lot of. Try searching on ebay for similar ones and see how much they're going for, you could list them as vintage, or rare, or in groups. I used to be into trading card games and there's a market for that sort of stuff.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
