Ooh thank you so much for that - I hadn't spotted it was on. I was beginning to think I was going to have to suffer withdrawl symptoms.0 -

Paul bought James (from the final up on the stage) and revealed a few show secrets. Apparently, Paul and Mary had not heard the interviews at the end of the final, when the 3 finalists were talking about their performance. Paul said when he heard Brendan say he deserved a 10, he spat his beer out all over the tv.
James seemed to have accepted that he had not done enough to win and agreed that overall (throughout the whole series) that John had shown extra flare, imagination and had strived for perfection. I agree.

If you are interested in entering the 2013 GBB entries are now being taken. They also hinted on the strong likelihood of a Junior GBB next year as well. Roll on 2013, I say
Thanks for this-I'm going to record them.0 -
Just a reminder to all those GBB fans. Don't forget to tune in tonight at 7.00 pm on BBC 2, or set your Sky +.
Paul and Mary showing how easy the 'technical challenges' are. A walk in the park according to Paul, especially when I saw him do the 8 plait loaf in record time at the SECC on Friday.
An hour of blissful viewing, followed by more on Tues, Weds and Thurs.
Enjoy!!!!MSE Addiction, should come with a health warning:money:0 -
Thank you!! I did see it but completely forgot about it. An hour of complete escapism is just what I need0

Originally I wanted James to win as I thought he was pretty constant and inventive and rarely flustered, whereas John had some really lows, but brilliant highs, but after watching recordings of his family thoughts of him, when his mum and sister didn't really think that he was that good, then I really was pleased that he won - at the same time as getting a First Law Degree!
The best man won in the end!0 -
