Well done on showing the trophy Swan so other people can look at how horrible it was... Although it looked 10 times worse on the show! :rotfl:
I wonder if Jo has it out on display? :think:0 -
I love the show but I still wish Jason won, even if he got kicked out ages ago! He was the most creative and would have been brill in the final.
Apparently he's given up his engineering degree to go and do baking.I hope they do another series so I can badger my sister to go on, she's a natural baker. She gets everything spot on first time and has casually whipped up enough brandy snaps, profiteroles, mini meringues and cheesecake for 30 people in an afternoon
They are looking for contestants for series 3 - it was on at the end of the programme. If she does get on let us know which one she is so we can root for her0 -
I really enjoyed the Great British Bake Off and I am utterly delighted that Jo won, she was the only real winner out of the three that were left. I don't want this to sound horrible but I got quite sick of Holly and her smugness, her way of trying to hide it was false and irritating.Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money

I thought she came across as a bit smug too - Jo was always so humble and lovely. I liked Mary-Ann too.0 -

Yes, will be watching . I do like to bake the odd cake , chocolate being a favourite, scone etc and they taste fine . Grandkids and DS ( 33yrs ) love jam tarts that I make with left over pastry, just as my mam did . I think they're easily pleased but as long as they're happy ! It's a way to use up leftover pastry and moneysaving too ! It's nice that the simple things are still liked .0
