Well, I decided to make a spag bol for tea then realised I didn't have a jar of sauce or a packet of mix to make it.
Suddenly dawned on me that there was a recipe in the book for it.
Anyway, this is the first time I have ever made a spag bol sauce without putting any italian herbs in or to add gravy granules or something to thicken it.
I have read that a couple of people thought it was bland as it doesn't have onions or garlic in it but I think it was really tasty. I would never have thought of putting a green pepper into a spag bol mix.
This will def be used again especially if I have a soft green pepper that I don't know what to do with.0 -

Can someone give me a rough idea of the herbs & spices etc. used in the recipes, especially the donner kebab and fried chicken? I've ordered the book but I'm going shopping tomorrow and want to make sure I've got some of the ingredients in for when the book arrives.Dum Spiro Spero0

I have made the hamburger and quarterpounder with cheese and the chicken fillet burger and the kids loved them, and the hamburgers do taste just like the "Golden Arches". Tonight I have tried the bacon and mushroom fettucini pasta, didnt have fettucini so used tagliatelle and it was really quick and easy to make and tasted just like something from an italian restaurant.
I have also done the southern fried chicken and that was a hit to. I really want to try the doner kebabs after reading your reviews and seeing the pics!
This book has already proved to be a big hit with my kids so its paid for itself already!0 -

For the lamb doner you'll need some italian herbs, garlic & onion powder, cayenne pepper and some oregano.
And some paprika as well as some of the above for the makings of the fried chicken.Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0
