    Hi all,

    Made the salt and pepper chicken from the new book for dinner tonight and it is gorgeous! Better than the takeaway version I think...

    Thought I'd take you a few pics :D

    OMG I am starving now looking at that.

    I have just happened upon this thread and have really enjoyed reading it

    I will be buying both books for sure,which won't be good for the old waist-line......but what the heck:)
    Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

    I reckon after looking through thenew book & index, that its better than the first one. I'm travelling at the moment so won't be able to try many recipes out for a few weeks.

    I had an email from Play this morning, More Takeaway Secrets is out on Thursday, £3.46 just now.

    Not sure wether to buy the books. Does anyone know if you can get them for the ipad?
    Can't think of anything smart to put here...

    iPad has a free kindle app so I assume you can run them through it? Given me an idea now! It's always easier for me to use my iPad when cooking than my kindle so may have to try that!

    I got the takeaway secret book both hardcopy and ipad kindle version, it is really amazing...... most popular in our house is the sweet and sour chicken in batter.... really yummy :)

    Cant wait to see the More Takeaway Secrets book now too thanks for the heads up :)

    making a batch of the cookies for a friend and she is insisting on paying me for them. I want to be fair and have totted it up to cost about £2.50 including oven time. do you this this is about right in your expert opinion?
