Thank you so much for that sb44, it looks absolutely delicious!!!
My book came on Thursday and my daughter has requested the chicken kebabs for tomorrow nights dinner (I've made a note about your OH's comment about the mince sauce so I'll add half a tspn, taste it and then add a bit more rather than add the full tspn)
It looks just like meatloaf when it is on the cutting board but once it is in the pitta it looks just like a proper kebab.0 -
Wow fab pics!!! I bought this book with great intentions of making loads and then have spent the last few weeks trying to use up whats in the freezer so havent got round to makin ganything other than the pizza dough
Might need to try some others out and give up with the freezer sorting :rotfl:
I've never noticed the value lamb her but will deff have a look out for it today! I am assuming that the finished meal would be freezable (not constructed of course)

I just bought this, and am waiting for this to arrive! We don't have a lot of takeaways - usually because I don't like not knowing what's gone into my food - but we do like the odd one every now and again. This sounds like a great book and I'm hoping to be able to recommend some of the recipes to my friends, who loooove takeout.

btw, cracking pics of the kebab, sb44 - very niceTrying for daily wins, and a little security in an insecure world.0 -

To be honest I have never seen the Value Lamb before but then again I haven't looked for it!
I found it online yesterday and that was the reason for me trying the recipe, it wasn't much to waste if it was a disaster. I think I will stock up on it now as it may well fly off the shelves when other members find out about it.
I would imagine it would be freezable, I was thinking of making up two batches, cooking both and freezing one as a whole. It seemed a bit of a waste having the oven on for 80mins for just one thing.0 -

If you have a programme that you use to download pics from your camera to your pc, it should give you the option what size to save them as when you download them.
I can go into mine and save a picture a second time if I rename it and save it in a different size.0
