Yeah just looked at that - the 5 sold went for £5 - £6..............do we think the £200 should be £2??? Even if it was I'm glad I got mine when I did. I love the book but probably wouldnt have paid £6 for itI paid £5.99 for mine instore at WH Smith as it was out of stock everywhere online (plus I had a gift voucher to use up) and it was worth every penny.
Agreed! I maybe didnt explain myself very well. I know the book is worth the price and I am sooooo glad I got it, however, back when I hadnt read it I am not sure I would have paid £5 or £6 for it. I'm a bit of a bargain hunter when it comes to books and normally dont pay full price for any of them, if I had managed to try, for example, the donnerrecipe before buying the book then I would have known it worth full price.................is that any clearer (I fear not :rotfl:)

Yep, I know what you mean.
I never pay full price for a book for myself.
Our local Age Concern charity shop sell all of their books for 10p each.
Most of the ones I have bought look brand new so I would begrudge paying 'normal' prices, even those from the Book People etc.
The only downside to that is I always come away with at least 5 books at a time and loads are cluttering up the spare room now.
I would put some on ebay but some are so heavy they would cost a hell of a lot to post.0 -
I just tried to order this from WH Smith, thinking it'd be easy and I could pick it up at a local store, but their store finder's loony - it's offered me stores 200 miles away as being the closest. They're geographically challenged!
I then got it to display the local store and proceeded to the check out .... to pick up in store - and there were so many screens to fill in that by the time I got to "pay for it", I'd lost the will to live and cancelled it. I'd have had to get up and get my card - and I thought picking up in store would mean paying for it in store too, like with Argos/Halfords.
I'll get round to it another day. It wasn't a great price at WH Smiths anyway, £1.68 off in the sale.0 -

hi everyone
bought OH this book for xmas, last night we had the donner kebab, which was amazing and today for lunch I made myself a sausage and egg mcmuffin which was identical to the real thing - my question is: I am making my little boy the chicken nuggets tonight for his tea ( OH and myself are trying the spare ribs and garlic bread:p), has anyone made the huggets before and is the recipe spot on or have you any 'tweaks' that you could advise me about? TIA0 -
I think we should all try to get this added to kindle books then we would have the recipes available on our phones when we are shopping, by using the tell the publisher button on this link we can recommend the book be added to Kindle books0

It's only a bargain if you were going to buy it anyway!0 -
It was back in stock on Amazon last night. I gave two copies as Christmas presents to two males in the family who I never know what to buy them.
Little do they know they are part of a revolution!
