    I saw that and thought the same, now if I also had the recipes for Greggs bakery products I would be in seventh heaven. :rotfl:

    Perhaps we can put in some requests for the next book? Please may I have Greggs Cheese and Onion Pasties and Cheesecakes - London style with Coconut and Icing (not cheese) and all of Pizza Express recipes. :rotfl:Ta muchly!! Some TGI Friday's would be good too!!

  • we have had this week big macs, donner meat,chicken tika masala and nann breads I doubled up on the Chicken Tika when I was making it so one evening this week we are having home made nanns with Tika salad and sauce inside yum:T
    The only thing so far we didnt like was the Char sui pork:o I have a feeling I added too much sesame oil because thats all I could smell all day when it was marinating and while it was cooking :undecided

    I thought it was the char grilled chicken sandwich, not sure though.

    I thought it was the cookies from greggs that they referred to. I thought the article was quite patronising tbh.
    Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.

    I 'sort of' made the b1g m-c yesterday and although it wasnt perfect it was pretty darn good and I think if I had done it properly it would have been as close to perfect as you could get. I decided half an hour before I ate that this is what I was going to do for lunch so the chilling of sauce and burgers wasnt done and I didnt have any onion so it was missed out completely as was the seasoning BUT I am still happy with the results and next time I will follow the recipe properly :)

    got my book today, will have to wait for the snow to thaw abit and go and stock up on spices and other ingredients!
  • Have ordered the book from a few days ago but it looks as if it will be after xmas now before I receive it - worst luck. Wondered if anyone can pm the receipe for the special burger sauce? hoping to make burgers tonight

    But which "American Mustard"? . The taste of the sauce of a Mac/ burgerking etc burger is the holy grail that I have never been able to find so far.
