A batch of American sausage is now nesting in the freezer, I used a good quality sausage meat instead of mince and cooked a tray full in the oven . they smelt great, and will be a quick easy breakfast some time soon.It matters not if you try and fail, and fail and try again; But it matters much if you try and fail, and fail to try again.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions for using bags/rubber gloves for doing the donner. I was going to do the sandwich bag thing for doing the chicken, but in the end I couldn't do it - so had to get my DS to coat the chicken for me. However the rubber glove method might be better - hopefully won't feel as if I'm touching it iykwim0

Be warned; if you decide to make the kebabs, you might want the kitchen window opened for a few hours - now might not be the best month to trial this. :rotfl:
I made this last night (was gorgeous, just like everyone else said) but the flat smelt like a kebab shop all night.
Didn't really bother me, seeing as I was making it for myself (and live by myself), but you might not want the smell lingering if it would bother you.0 -
