Twoflower - my thoughts are with you and your family for tomorrow

Merfe - Good Luck for tomorrow also

So MW came yesterday my BP is still high & protien in my water works she wanted to put me back in hospital but said that I felt fine and would feel better is I was at home :o I see the consultant at 4pm tomorrow to get a date for my section. They will once again check me over & I see the MW on Friday so she agreed that if anything changed then I had to ring and that she was trusting me. :o

Labour Vibes & Hugs to all those in need xoxo
If you can think it........it will happen

Nothing at all to worry about, it's called a posterior placenta. It's irrelevant as long as it's not covering the cervix which is what they'll check for at your 20 week scan, in which case you'll need further scans to check it's moved. It does mean you might feel the kicks more as there's no placenta in between baby and your stomach to cushion them!

    Have a look here; http://www.babyandbump.com/pregnancy-second-trimester/154559-posterior-placenta-good-bad.html

Hope that helps - I wish midwifes wouldn't just tell us stuff in jargonese, do they not realise we then go home and worry?! ;)

Thanks Lilian hun. That's put my mind at ease. Although, will it really affect me considering i'll be having a C Section anyhow?

I'm in agreement, I wish they would just tell me this stuff A, B, C like lol!

ante natal clinic just been on, they were going to ring me in the morning to arrange an appt (they don't have the book there it's locked in another office til tomorrow morning ). I said if they cannot gurantee me an appt tomorrow then I need something else aranging cos I don't want to be sat at home all morning waiting for the phone to ring only to be told they cannot fit me in (I work quite a distance away from the hosp)

So I am now going to a drop in clinic tomorrow lunch time at a Sure Start centre which is halfway between work and home. Which I am fine about as means I will finish early and get home early - bl00dy good job it isn't an emergency isn't it?

Won't affect you at all - in fact it'll put you at an advantage because there'll be no increased risk of bleeding as they won't have to risk cutting through the placenta like they would if it was anterior.

Dusty - glad you've managed to find somewhere that will see you tomorrow, good luck xx

Sorry to drop in - just saw this and though I should alert you all: 'Till receipts are a potential source of exposure to the controversial chemical [BPA]'. The article goes on to say pregnant women should avoid handling till receipts. Article here

Thanks Princess, I'd love another wee girl. I'm also getting similar cravings for oranges and fruit salads.

I'm just back from my 16 week check. Heard the heartbeat, it definently sounded like a train, what does that mean again?

Giz- I felt the cd was good for relaxation and affirmations. My cd was in the cover. I wish I knew how to send the one I have on iTunes. Sorry I'm rubbish with things like that.

    Go to track in ITunes

    Right Mouse Click
    Get Info
Summary - at the bottom of this says 'where - xxx' and gives you the destination file of said track.

Follow destination from your 'my computer' mine starts at the C drive and then points me through the folders to the track I want.

Once you have found the track destination folder you can cut and paste, attach to an e-mail or my favourite - drag into msn and pass on to anyone who wants it :)

Could always upload it to rapidshare and then just share the link with whomever you want to share with.

Rapidshare is free to use even though they also offer a premium service.
